What to Expect When Expecting in an Omegaverse: Minsung

It takes a week or so to get the plans in order but Felix secured his meeting with Minho. Jisung stressed to the alpha multiple times, that he doesn't have to go. The omega told him that if he thinks it will be weird that he can just tell his bestfriend that Minho has a busy work week and that they have to raincheck. Despite Jisung's promises that Minho did not have to go, the alpha was completely willing to tag along to get hotpot with Felix and Jisung. Changbin and Nabi are also tagging along, the former Minho has already met a few times before.

Jisung feels like this whole thing is going to be so awkward. Felix is a very important person in his life- he's his bestfriend, but Changbin is like a big brother to him. He finds himself worried about the impression Minho will make on either of them. Even if Changbin has already met Minho, the alphas have only really spoken in passing. Jisung isn't too worried about Felix liking Minho, because Felix tends to either strongly like people or have no feelings at all about them. What if Changbin finds Minho weird though? What if Minho finds Changbin obnoxious? What does Jisung do then, because he's already knocked up by Minho and it's not like he's going anywhere?

He supposes that it's okay if the alphas happen not to like each other. It's true that Minho won't be going anywhere no matter how the older feels about him. He can just keep them separated like he's been doing. It might become a little inconvenient but they're all adults and can behave cordially if the need presents itself, right? He doesn't know what he's so damned nervous about. Minho is actually pretty easy to get along with, and it's not like he's socially inept or something.

"I've never been here before. Is this place new?" Minho asks as he opens the door to the hotpot restaurant. Jisung follows behind him with his head down and gaze looking at his phone as he texts Felix to find out where they are sitting. This makes it easy for Jisung to run into the back of Minho when the older suddenly stops moving. The omega is about to scold Minho in annoyance, but the alpha is already talking. "Watch where you're going, Sung. Where are you friends?" He scolds Jisung first and the younger glares at him.

"Lix says they're parking now" Jisung decides not to argue with Minho in public and instead just updates him on where the others are.

"Okay, we should just wait here for them then" the alpha replies and Jisung nods in response. "Have you been here before?" Minho asks as they wait.

"Yeah, Changbin-hyung and I came here a lot in highschool. Then Changbin-hyung met Chan-hyung, and we'd always hang out together everywhere. Changbin-hyung started dating Felix in college, he came with us too." Jisung gives the alpha a little background of their time with this place. It's a small family-owned hotpot restaurant that has grown in size over the last few years. They used to come here a lot when they weren't as busy. Nowadays, it can be difficult to find time when everyone is free to just sit down and eat.

"Sungie~ look, Nabi-ya! Do you know who that is?" Felix gets Jisung and Minho's attention when he calls for the omega brightly. Nabi is on the freckled man's hip. The toddler is dressed in a fuzzy brown coat with black leggings and equally as fuzzy tan boots. To top off her adorable outfit, she has on a light brown knitted hat with two poof balls on either side of her head.

"Suhh! Suh!" The toddler yells excitedly and her little voice warms Jisung's heart. He greets her with a doting smile and a peck to her cheek. She's kicking her feet with uncontrolled enthusiasm, unfortunate for her omega dad who was on the receiving end of said kicking feet.

"I don't know why she's suddenly started with this obsession with you. I don't think I've ever gotten a greeting like that..." Changbin sulks as he too comes to join the group. "Hey, hyung" he nods in greeting to Minho, and the other alpha nods his head back casually.

"Minho-ssi, hello! I was looking forward to meeting you" Felix greets the alpha as well and he shifts Nabi's weight on his hip to give Minho a short polite bow.
