"I was never absolutely certain, but today's match confirmed it. You're an idiot." stated Machi, looking at the magician in front of her. Hisoka only smiled, saying: "Perhaps." "Why do you endanger yourself this way? Was that meant as a performance or something?" "Who knows?"
After a short pause, Machi said: "Well, I can't complain, since I'm getting paid." She then took a needle out of the pincushion on her wrist, a thread made of Nen appearing from it. She held it up, saying: "I'll stop your bleeding first."
"Hey, hey. Please try to be gentle." said Hisoka as she had used the string to cut off the circulation on both of his arms. Machi just said: "Yeah, yeah. Just put away your aura." He did as told, and she sewed both of his arms back on as if it was nothing, using her Nen Stiches.
The clown said: "I'm always mesmerized by your skills. Perhaps I get myself injured so I can watch you work your magic." "Right. 20 million for the left arm. 50 million for the right. Pay up. Now." she replied, not caring.
"I'll send the money to your account." he said. Machi grabbed her bag, saying: "Alright. You can treat the rest of your injuries yourself." "You could provide better service." "You should be able to manage with your Bungee Gum and Texture Surprise."
"I should probably conceal this." said Hisoka, looking at the stitches on both of his arms. He added: "That way, they'll think my arms were healed during the match." Machi kept quiet for a moment, then said: "That kid... She's strong."
Hisoka's grin widened as he said: "She has the potential to become stronger than me. Stronger than anyone, probably." "Hm? You're giving a mere girl that much credit?" "She has immense control over her body, and I can tell that she can control her Nen like a master already, despite having learned of Nen just recently."
"What was her name? Ace? Maybe Ace will kick your ass someday. She seems to have a special kind of hatred towards you." said Machi, an amused glint visible in her eyes. Hisoka let out a quiet chuckle, not correcting her on the name, saying: "It will only grow."
As Machi was about to leave, she turned back to face him, saying: "Oh, that's right. I came here for a reason. I have new orders. All Troupe members are to be in Yorknew City by noon, August 30th, not just those who find it convenient."
"Will the boss be coming?" "Most likely. This could be our biggest job yet. If you skip this one, the boss might hunt you down himself." "How very scary. Then, care to join me for dinner tonight?" Machi just left, leaving Hisoka alone. "A pity." He then smiled to himself, muttering: "It'll be interesting in Yorknew City. If I use (Y/N) right, then..."

I opened the door to Gon's room, letting Killua step inside before closing it behind me. Gon immediately asked: "Killua, (Y/N)! How was Hisoka's fight?" "It was boring." stated Killua, to which I said: "But you were on the edge of your seat the whole time."
"Did Hisoka win?" asked Gon, looking at me. I nodded, answering: "He did." "It was an incredible fight." admitted Killua, looking out of Gon's window. "I hate to admit this, but I have no idea how Hisoka won."
"You couldn't tell? And you, (Y/N)?" asked Gon, a hopeful look in his eyes. I slowly shook my head, saying: "No, sorry. It was... like he wasn't fighting, but simply playing a game. But the rules were all over the place. Does that make sense?" Killua smiled lightly as he looked back at us, saying: "We need to learn more about Nen." "Yeah!" Gon and I agreed, both smiling.

Standing in Wing's room, the trio looked up at the teacher, who said: "Gon. Killua. (Y/N). Starting today, you'll train with Zushi. Gon, I'm pleased that you kept your word." "It's thanks to your promise thread. A few times, I almost gave in. But when I looked at the thread, I was able to control myself." admitted Gon, looking at the blue thread on his finger.
Wing noted: "That's because I added some Nen to help you." "Huh? Really?" "No, I was lying." "Huh?" Killua asked: "But how could you tell that he kept his word? He could have been practicing in secret."
Gon looked at Killua with puffed cheeks, not liking that he indicated that Gon might have cheated. "Because the promise thread remained intact. Gon, it's been a while, but would you try using Ten?" asked Wing, looking at the raven haired boy. "Is it okay?" "Yes."
After Gon was focusing for only a few moments, (Y/N) smiled at her friend. She said: "You're doing it, Gon!" Wing glanced at her, then asked: "Zushi, what do you think?" Without wasting a second, his student answered: "It's amazing! His aura is flowing all around him! Soft and calm... But it's very strong!"
"I did it! Whew... I was worried that I might have forgotten how." stated Gon, smiling happily. The young Gladiator grinned, pointing a thumb at herself, saying: "I would've taught you again, Gon, don't worry!"
He smiled at her, glad that he could count on his friend. Wing said: "Once you've learned the technique, you can't forget it. However, to become a master, you'll have to train hard." Gon replied: "But it felt easier than before, despite not having been practicing Ten."
"That's because you were training your spirit each day. Now, look at your left hand." Gon did as told, his eyes widening in amazement. "It snapped!" he said, looking at the broken promise thread.
Wing said: "By applying my own Nen, I tied the thread such that if you broke your promise and used Nen, it would snap." "That's possible?" asked (Y/N), looking up at their teacher. "Yes." Killua then asked: "Hey, Wing. Did you watch Kastro and Hisoka's match?"
"Yes, I did." he answered plainly. Killua continued: "What was the ability that Hisoka used? Could we send loose limbs flying around?" "Hmm, that's a difficult question. Gon, have you seen the fight on video?"
"No, not yet." answered Gon honestly, watching as Wing took a CD into his hand. He said: "Then I'll explain while we watch it."
