(Just so y'all know, if it doesn't say it's Jace's POV, then it's Clary) I wake up, my vision blurry from crying, i see that I fell asleep still clutching Jace's shirt. I realize that my back is stinging slightly, not enough to hurt, but enough for it to annoy me. I go to my bathroom and lift my shirt looking back into the mirror, yet see no obvious sign of what's causing the strange burning. I let my shirt fall and look at myself in the mirror. I look terrible, my eyes are red and my face is puffy and splotched from crying. I was going to go see Sebastian, but I can't leave my room like this. So instead I pace my room worrying about jace. Eventually my face has returned to normal and i open ny door to find Sebastian waiting for me. "You look terrible," he says with no lightness or humor, his eyes are a flat black, instead of their usual bright look. I wonder what's changed in him. I look at him curiously, studying every inch of the boy I thought I knew. "Is there a problem?" He asks practically growling. "N-no," I stutter, for some reason afraid of him. "Good, are you going to quit mopping in your room finally?" I stare at him in shock, this isn't like him at all. Well not the him I've come to know, he's like... like the old him.. In answer to his question o turn around and quietly close my door locking it back. I'm scared of what he'll do now that i've closed it, but I'm even more scared of staying out in the hall with him. I hear him stomp off, then i hear the smashing of glass, probably him breaking a mirror. I pace my room a little longer before leaving again, going to try again with Sebastian. I leave to find him and I search downstairs, and not finding him there i go to his bedroom. I am about to knock on his door when I hear voices coming from behind the door. I creak the door open and peek in, i see him standing in front of his mirror speaking, I am about to leave, assuming he is talking to himself when he turns slightly and i see the person reflected in the mirror is not him. In it is the Seelie Queen, i am suprised to see this. As she worked with us against him, i tune into their conversation hoping to understand. "Well, I do hope you rid of her soon," the Queen says to him, sneering as she says 'her'. "Yes, my love," he responds "she will be gone within the week, Valentine wants her. Expecially since that nimwitted Jace went to see him." Sebastian says as he shakes pills out of a bottle and tosses them back dry. "What are those for?" The Queen asks, looking genuinely perplexed. "Nothing," he says as he closes and hides the bottle before I can see what was in it. After their conversation carries on a few moments longer, i can tell it's coming to an end. "Well, I must go, my subjects await me. Be sure to visit me soon dearest," she says lovingly. "Of course, my love," he responds, cutting the connection. I start to slowly close the door, as I hear Sebastian speak again. "I know you are there Clary, ypu may well come out now." I am about to listen to him and enter the room, when I remeber him telling the queen how he was going to get rid of me, and how Valentine wanted me. If he wants me he can have me. I turn and run into my room, locking the door, I hear Sebastian running after me. I quickly draw a strength rune and shove my bed in front of the door, I then start drawing the rune for a portal. As the portal opens glowing blue, i look back at the door that Sebastian has already almost opened, i look back to the already shrinking portal and step through. I hope this works. Instead of thinking of a place, i think of a person. Valentine. Since I've never been to the demon realm. I tumble over and over in the slightly blue-black darkness. Unable to tell what's up and what's down. I'm in the tunnel so long that it feels like an eternity. When I finally land, I land on my right arm, crushing it under me. The pain is excruciating, i can feel every little fragment of my bone crunching i as scream in pain. Eventually I begin to pass out from the pain, thinking about how unfortunate that it was my right arm, my rune hand. I think this and more as the world slowly goes dark, the last thought on my mind as the world goes entirely black is Jace.
