May They Rest in Paradise

Just so everyone knows, Kensington and Kingston are supposed to represent your character in Hogwarts Mystery (for both female and male). Rowan is the female Rowan and Ronan is the male Rowan in Hogwarts Mystery as well. Just so we are clear on that!

Kensington was in the Great Hall with Merula and Ben. It was the morning after Rowan and Ronan were killed. They were still in shock about what happened. They couldn't believe that Rakepick had killed Rowan and Ronan. They knew that she couldn't be trusted in the first place, but now they don't trust her at all for what she did the previous night.

Kingston and Hannah came into the Great Hall and met up with Kensington, Merula and Ben. He looked just as exhausted and in shock as they were. He was there when Rowan and Ronan were killed. "How are you guys?" Kingston asks gently, looking around.

"We're still so shocked about what happened to Rowan and Ronan..." Kensington says, looking down. "Our best friends were killed last night Kingston."

He nods, tearing up. "I know. I can't believe it myself. Why did Rakepick have to do that?"

"I don't know, but we know that we cannot trust her anymore," Kensington says. "I know we didn't before, but now we definitely can't trust her. Not after last night."

He nods. "Yeah. You can never trust a murderer."

Hannah didn't know what to say honestly. She was also crying quietly, for Rowan was her best friend as well as Kensington's, so she didn't want to say anything. She knew how it felt to lose people to the killing curse. She and her younger brother Harry had lost their parents to it on October 31, 1981 to that exact same curse by He Must Not Be Named. It had happened in her first year of being at Hogwarts, and she had to take care of him for a little bit until their aunt and uncle took him in. That wasn't until 2 months later during the winter break though. Now her closest friends are dead because of the same curse that killed her parents, and she didn't know how things were going to be now without Rowan and Ronan.

Penny walked over to them. She had tears going down her face. "Hey guys... how are you feeling?"

Kensington looked over, tearing up as she saw Penny like that. "We're okay Penny... just shocked about last night. Me and Kingston both lost our best friends last night, but we're okay."

She nods. "I can't imagine how you all are feeling since you witnessed that. Rowan and Ronan didn't deserve that at all..."

Ben nods. "It was supposed to hit me... Rakepick was aiming the curse at me, but Rowan jumped in front of it, and when she cast it again, Ronan jumped in front of that one... I should have died last night, not them..."

Barnaby went over when he heard that. "Ben don't say that. No one should have died last night. Not Rowan and Ronan, not you, not anyone. No one ever deserves to die."

He shrugged. "Sure. I just feel guilty."

Kensington sighed. "We all do Ben. Now can we please talk about something different?"

Kingston nods. "Good idea."

Penny was getting more teary eyed. "Kensi, King, I know why Rowan and Ronan followed us into the forest."

They turned to her. "What?! You know? How do you know?"

Just as she was about to say something, Professor Dumbledore was coming up to the stage.

Andre walked up behind them. "Dumbledore is here. He is about to say something."

Kensington turned to Penny, a look of a little fear and a little pain in her eyes. "Penny, what do you know about Rowan and Ronan and last night?"

"I'll tell you guys after Dumbledore's speech. For now, we need to leave it alone," Penny says.

Kensington nods reluctantly. "Okay." They all turn to Dumbledore, who was waiting for everyone to stop talking before he started talking. Soon everyone was done talking and he started his speech. (The next part is all from the game itself, so credits to the creators of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery for the speech!)

"Last night we suffered an unimaginable loss at the hands of unimaginable evil. Rowan and Ronan Khanna, devoted students and friends, sacrificed their life to save another's... There is no more noble deed. So today we will not waste words of Rowan and Ronan Khanna's killer, whom I assure you will be brought to justice. Today we gather as one Hogwarts community to grieve, remember, and honor Rowan and Ronan and their final heroic act. Grief takes many forms. And it takes time. Sadness... Fear... Anger... There are no wrong feelings. It is important in trying times that we be kind and patient with one another. And never forget that Rowan and Ronan Khanna died heroes. Some of you may know it was both Rowan and Ronan's ambition to teach at Hogwarts one day. By constantly pursuing new knowledge and instilling a love of learning in ourselves and others... We can honor Rowan and Ronan's dream. For now, I have temporarily suspended new lessons to give everyone time to grieve. But remember that if we let Rowan and Ronan's noble goal be a guiding light in these dark times... Then just like this light... The memory of Rowan and Ronan Khanna - clever, brave, driven, and loyal companions - will shine on."

Everyone's wands were raised and a light shone from the end of their wands. Everyone was doing it, from the professors to the students in the Great Hall. It was amazing, but Kensington wished that they didn't even have to do this because if Rowan and Ronan hadn't died, they wouldn't be gathered like this. It made her so sad and mad. Soon, everyone dispersed and Kensington and Kingston followed Penny to a hallway kind of far away from everything else. They needed to know why Rowan and Ronan had followed them into the forest last night.

*After they were told*

Kensington and Kingston were in shock. Penny had told Rowan and Ronan what she knew about Rakepick and 'R', and she only told them about it because they could've understood what they were going through. They did understand, but they felt like they had to protect Kensington and Kingston just like how Kensington and Kingston have protected Rowan and Ronan. They had been following Kensington, Kingston, Merula, and Ben from a distance. When they had seen that Rakepick was about to try to strike Ben with the killing curse, Rowan had to jump in front because she couldn't bear the thought of losing Ben, even when he was being so annoying so far this year. Ronan was distraught that he lost his twin sister, but soon Rakepick was trying to cast the curse on Ben yet again, and he jumped in front of that. Kensington and Kingston were devastated at the news, but they couldn't trudge on that for long. Everyone was getting called to their dorm rooms because their house leaders had an announcement to make. They all went to their dorms, wondering what the announcement could be. Whatever it was, nothing would ever be the same without Rowan and Ronan.

*After they were told the announcement*

Kensington, Kingston, Hannah, and everyone else were just chilling after they were told the announcement all the house leaders had for them. They were told that due to Rakepick being on the lose, especially since she killed Rowan and Ronan last night, there will be a lot of restrictions going forward until she is caught. One of the restrictions was that they couldn't go outside the school walls besides for when they go out for Hogsmeade for third years and up. Even during that time, they will be closely monitored to ensure their safety and to ensure that they don't run across Rakepick while there. They were also told to try to stick to an adult as much as possible when they're roaming the halls, just in case of Rakepick. They don't want to be relaxed about this since she had killed 2 very well known students at Hogwarts, and they were going to take her down once she was found.

Kensington was talking to Hannah, trying to keep her mind off of everything from last night and today. Kingston was talking to Ben, doing the same kind of thing. They don't know how things are going to be now that Rowan and Ronan are gone. It will never feel the same though, they all know that much.
