December passed and it soon was time for the holidays. Some students especially the older ones were spending their time in Hogwarts, but many were returning home to their families. All of Adelaide's friends, like herself, were going to their own homes for that time, the only exception was Severus who was much happier staying at Hogwarts than going home, and since Potter and his gang were going to home themselves, it was the best choice he could make.

Adelaide was packing her trunk a few hours before she went home with her sisters. She was packing a smaller trunk since she was only living Hogwarts a little more than a week. Midnight was on her bad, staring intently as she went around the room, putting things inside her trunk.

"I really miss home, it would be nice seeing them after so long." Sarah said as she herself had finished packing her bags and was lying on her bed lazily.

"Yeah, i am also missing the food from home too, the food is amazing here, but nothing tastes like my mother's homemade food. I am so excited for eating her roasted chicken again." Alice replied, gazing outside the window, as if the food could appear somehow.

"Well, I think i am packed as well." Adelaide announced. "I can't wait to go home too."

A few hours later, Victoria and Elizabeth were waiting with her outside of Mcgonagall's office so that they could use the fireplace and Floo powder to transport home. "Come in."

"Good night, professor Mcgonagall. We were here to go home." Elizabeth greeted her.

"Oh, yes. There is some Floo powder in that bowl over there."

Elizabeth brought the bowl down, filling her hand with some of it, as she brought it in front of Victoria and Adelaide so that they could take some as well.

"Well, go inside the fireplace. I think you already know how to use the powder."
They nodded.
"Send my regards to your parents, please."

"Goodbye professor, i wish you a great year."
"Thank you, Elizabeth."
Elizabeth disappeared, being the first to go home.

Adelaide and Victoria went after Elizabeth, after wishing Mcgonagall a merry Christmas and a nice year.

Adelaide was the last, and after opening her eyes, she saw her parents in front of her as she entered the white villa's fireplace.

"Mama, Papa!" Adelaide ran outside the fireplace, some soot flew outside from her action.

Her parents hugged her, squeezing her tightly. They let her go.
Adelaide was pulled into another hug, this time by Helena. "Oh, Helena. I missed you so much."
"Me too, it was scary without you."

After Helena let her go, she was crushed by Edmund.
"My, when have you become this strong, Eddie?"
Edmund smiled at her, showing her, a gap in his front teeth.

"Your tooth had fallen?!"
"Oh, yeah. The tooth fairy gave me 10 galleons!"
"Lucky you, now you're rich."

"Now Edmund, Helena. Let your sisters catch some air. Girls, join us for dinner at the dining room, after changing your clothes." Their father said, pushing Edmund and Helena to the door.

"Yes. Yes." Victoria replied, racing to her room, already.

Adelaide changed her uniform to a simple short sleeved white dress, as she was a little lazy and couldn't look for another dress.

She joined her family at the table, lots of foods was on it.

"Now, girls care to tell us a bit about this year?" Their mother asked them.

Victoria was the first to talk, telling them interesting stories about her fourth year. Making them roar with laughter.

"And then, Chris pushed Flint's head in the mud and said..."
