Adelaide was being taught non-verbal spells by Dumbledore and some very ancient and powerful charms and nowadays, Adelaide's head was in very old dusty books containing the latter.

The rest of the school year was passing quickly and as they were fifth year students, their stress was increasing with each passing day. Their professors were becoming more and more demanding and she could always find Marlene cursing them under her breath, a habit that was also taken up by Alice too.

Adelaide was glad that she had her friends by her side. Lily was still being annoyed by James and he was still feuding with Severus, who had grown cold and overbearing. Alice and Frank were going steady and their relationship was lovely and sweet and Adelaide was happy that she was dating someone who deserved her. Sarah and Henry were also very compatible and perhaps, they could also become like Alice and Frank. Marlene was still dating her first girlfriend and things were ok. Mary had begun dating a Gryffindor boy a year above them, whose name was Max and so far she was happy. Dorcas was chilling with herself and they still all managed to see each other or meet together in their dorms to have a sleepover that was mainly doing homework them perhaps having time to gossip before they fell asleep.

Tonight was Adelaide's time to patrol the corridors and she had taken a book on Potions to review when she heard the sound of whispers, then something fell and made a noise a few minutes past midnight.

"Is someone here? Show yourself and I won't deduct house points, just go to your common room."

Nothing. Just silence.

Then Adelaide cast a powerful revealing spell non-verbally and she saw the marauders with Frank and Somerset sneaking around. While the four boys were clad in the cloak, barely that is, Frank and Somerset had invisible spells casted on them that was broken by Adelaide, but they didn't notice anything and kept on walking. Adelaide decided to follow them and see where they were going and what they were up to. She knew it was something they did most nights but this was the first time she had caught them. She cast an invisibility charm on herself so that they wouldn't notice her.

She followed them to the direction of the Hufflepuff common room, to her surprise. They didn't go to the common room but went to a portrait that had some fruits drawn on it, pears, if she was seeing correctly in the dim light, and they murmured something and it opened, revealing a passageway. Adelaide quickly followed them before the portrait got closed and she found herself in the Hogwarts kitchen. The kitchen was filled with house elves walking around and working in frenzy and preparing for tomorrow. Adelaide had never been in the kitchen and so she just took a look around for sometime.

The boys let go off their invisibility and Sirius said: "Ah, we made it again. I must stay the kitchens have become our safe havens for a year or two,"
then he turned around and looked at a house elf that had yellow cloth around herself, who bowed at them and continued, "Pepper, you know the drill. Only this time the menu is only desserts."

"Yes, master Sirius. Anything else?" The house elf squeaked.

"Oh bring some glasses for the wine i brought with us. How many are we?... 6 glasses."
Adelaide was shocked when Sirius quickly put a bottle of red wine on the table. They were underage but then again these boys never cared about things like that, as they wished to be edgy and fearless.

"No, only 4." Frank told Pepper who nodded and quickly went away to bring their orders.

"Oh, he forgot that you two were buzz-kills." Peter muttered.

"No, it's just... Our OWLs are near and you're drinking like one of those drunk uncles you don't want to get near to. The last thing anyone wants is to wake up with a huge hangover these last few months." Frank answered.
