The next day, everyone was sleepy and was in danger of falling asleep and falling onto something. Thankfully, it was the weekend so they could rest and catch up on their sleep. When Adelaide and Sarah went to the great hall, they noticed how tired everyone was. Lily seemed the most energetic and it was because she had retired a little bit after Adelaide. Sirius was also looking fine despite not really having the best sleep last night due to some «activities» but he was still too sleepy to hold a proper conversation with them.

As they were silently eating breakfast, Alice and Frank tiredly came in the great hall, hand in hand. When Lily saw them, she chuckled and everyone else did the same. Frank didn't really care as he flung some water on James, whose laugh was the loudest, but Alice turned red as Adelaide felt bad for the poor girl. Stephan arrived with his Hufflepuff friends as everyone gave him the stink eye, but Albert quickly explained what had transpired the day before and so everyone nodded in understanding but made sure to tell him that he had better not to try to pull something off like this again.

When they finished their breakfast, Adelaide got up with Stephan to leave as everyone turned to star at them. "Where the hell are you two going?" Asked Marlene curiously.

"We're going to visit his father in the hospital." Answered Adelaide.

"Ah, so it's the meet the groom's parents day." James said as Remus slapped his arm.

"No, it's just visiting his sick father for god's sake. He had also met my own father in Summer." Adelaide answered as Sirius smirked.

"So he had met the bride's father." He said as Stephan rolled his eyes as they turned around to leave. "Idiots."

Adelaide was wearing her usual thin strapped dresses with cardigan but had braided her hair as she noticed how nervous Stephan was. "I talked with Mcgonagall about this so we're good to go."

"Where shall we use the Floo powder? In her office?" He nodded as they walked towards her office's direction. When they knocked the door a faint word said: "Enter."

They walked inside and Mcgonagall stared at them curiously with her blue eyes as she said: "The Floo powder is over there, Stephan."

"Um, Heidi- Adelaide is coming with me as well." Stephan said as Mcgonagall smiled faintly and nodded.

"You go first, Adelaide. Wait for me there." Adelaide nodded as she used the Floo powder and appeared inside the hospital. She continued dusting herself as she waited for Stephan to show up. It took him a long while and when he arrived, pink was coating his cheeks.

"What is it?"

"Ah, Mcgonagall and her words. Let's go." Adelaide merely looked at him with a puzzled expression as she nodded.

They first went up a couple of stairs and later turned a couple of times around as she felt dizzy from turning left and right so much, so quickly. Adelaide also felt nervous in the hospital and it reminded her of the times that she was a little girl, coming to visit her mother, not only in her last year of life but also way back. She remembered by how sick she had been during her last pregnancy, not even a single bite of food stayed down her stomach and she had spent most of it in bed. And later, she nearly died, giving birth to Edmund. She had too many memories in these walls and most of them were not happy.

As she was overthinking, she felt someone squeeze her hand and saw Stephan looking at her with care: "It's alright, Adelaide. Everything's fine." She nodded as she drew in a shuddering breath as they finally reached their destination.

Stephan knocked on the door as a healer opened it and nodded at them. He left as they entered the room and Adelaide saw two people looking at them with great interest. One was a man who was in bed, with comfortable nightclothes while keeping his covers up with dark auburn hair with strands of grey hair and green eyes. He was not as thin as her own father, but had the same kind expression on his face. The woman beside the bed was quite lovely, with her golden hair hanging loosely around her shoulders and kind brown eyes that were so much like the boy standing beside her, she was tall and slender. She looked quite exhausted but there was some peace written over her face as she had her husband's hand in her own.
