"It's been so long since we had spend a meaningful time together, either we're busy studying, with our individual friends or especially with our boyfriends or girlfriend in Marlene's case. Let's hang by the lake again, at our usual spot." Mary said suddenly at breakfast on Sunday.

"You're right, i have missed talking with you all and we haven't had our sleepovers since two months ago, we need a huge reunion for all the time that we have lost." Marlene nodded in agreement.

"I have already prepared the snacks and all, now get up and let's go, chop chop ladies." Mary said dramatically.

"But let us eat first, Mary darling. I would hate to get up with an empty stomach." Alice chuckled as they ate a but more and got up after Mary began threatening them.

It was a cold but lovely morning and Adelaide adored spending time with her friends again as they sat on the blanket that they had spread on the ground and put pillows on it.

"Sarah did you broke up with your boyfriend?" Mary asked as she put a chocolate glazed strawberry in her mouth.

"Yeah, it wasn't working between us anymore, though Henry asked me out this week, while Somerset and Bones were his wingmen. It was funny seeing him stumble over his words but I accepted it."

"Congrats, Sammie. I hope this time he will be the one." Alice smiled at her.

They talked about a lot of things like fashion, school, their hobbies and families to let each other know about what they had missed out on due to not getting together as much.

They all soon departed and went back to their respective lives. Adelaide took off and went towards the library. She started working and studying for a bit and after some time she felt someone's gaze on her. She turned back and saw Somerset who only waved, Adelaide surprisingly waved back. He got up and stood beside her and said: "May i sit here? Sometimes it gets boring when one studies alone in a library for sometime."

"Sure." Adelaide answered as he sat beside her, on the chair next to her.

"Did you do the astronomy homework?" Somerset asked after a while.

"No, we need telescope for that and a clear night, which i didn't find. I was hoping i could do it tonight." Adelaide answered.

"Oh, i haven't done it too. Perhaps we could do it together, it can take less time."

"Ok. I suppose it will be better this way."

They studied in silence until dinner and parted ways. Adelaide surprisingly grew to like his presence. Impossible. Adelaide snorted. He had let go of his past ways and matured, i can tolerate him and he's not that bad. Pretty nice actually. I suppose he grew on me.

At 8, she finished her dinner quickly and gathered her astronomy homework and calendars, to take to the tower to do her homework with Somerset.

"Where are you going so fast, Dela?" Alice asked.

"Nowhere special, i will only be doing my homework with Somerset at the astronomy tower."

"Only?" Lily said so quietly that no one but Adelaide heard her. She also raised her eyebrows and analysed Adelaide only sighed and gave an amused smile.

"Well, that's new, a character arc even." Dorcas joked as she drank her pumpkin juice.

"We have both grown it seems, especially him." Adelaide answered.

"Obviously." Lily muttered as Adelaide eyed her cluelessly.

"I'm going. See you later, bye." Adelaide waved as she ran towards the direction of the astronomy tower. Somerset was already waiting for her in the hallway.
He smiled at her and they left for the tower.
As they walked through the hallway and climbed the stairs, they heard laughter above the tower. Some people were there, sitting on the edge pointing at the sky and laughing.
