It was as if their luck was not there anymore, as the full moon was cloudy and unclear and they had to do it again. Then again, there was a silly small chance that it would be sunny next month as they had predicted that next month will be full of snow and rain, so they needed to do this again and again for a long time it seems.

School was alright, Adelaide was thankful that they had another year until the OWLs and pretty much was not wasting her time. She was still the top of her class with Somerset, who she was fiercely competing against, this year was harder since whenever they weren't equals, there would only be a percent or two difference between their scores. He was much less annoyed by her and wasn't as arrogant as before and treated her with much more decency, but Adelaide always treated him with great contempt and coldness like always and whenever she equaled him or was a bit lower, she would be in an awful mood.

James and Sirius, and to some degree also Remus, Peter, Somerset and Frank had grown very popular around school. Their charm and physical appearance was a great helper and it did also help that all of them happened to be very good at something; Somerset was the brightest of his generation (besides Adelaide), James had been crowned the king of quidditch, Sirius was dating Marlene ,before her, he had a few flings and flirtations here and there, and now they were the «it» couple of the Hogwarts, etc. though the dark side of everything was that James, Sirius and Peter bullied students, especially the ones who were younger or Slytherins or happened to have annoyed them or just for show. Remus didn't like that but he didn't do anything to stop it. Frank tried to do so, but gave up after some tries but it was Somerset who really put an end to their bullying, so whenever they were trying to do something, they never did it in front of Somerset.

Mulciber had grown into his bullying and now knew and casted effective curses and hexes. His behaviour was reprimanded by professors but he was getting better at hiding it. He also encouraged Severus to hex and curse James and Sirius too, and taught him far complex and horrible curses and Adelaide knew that those two with William would make new hexes, a fact that alarmed her and whenever she tried to tell them, Severus would look guilty but William would grow colder and wouldn't acknowledge her for some time, so Adelaide learnt to never nag to him about Mulciber or else he would lash at her. Whenever he would grow cold, he would suddenly lash out and he would feel guilt and the next time he saw her, he would apologise to her. Frankly, whenever he became cold he could be unpredictable and scary.

"The last Hogsmeade trip we had enough girl time, this time we can pursue alone time or something else." Mary told them.

"I have a date with Sirius, perhaps we can go to three broomsticks ourselves at first then we can part ways." Marlene said as she nodded as if she was reminding herself mostly.

"Very well. We get it, darling. No need to remind us every day. That is a good idea." Alice responded, at the same moment that Frank and Somerset walked towards them.

"Hello everyone." Somerset told them as he gave a quick glance to Adelaide. Adelaide was the only one who didn't respond to him nor acknowledged him. Frank nodded to them all, then looked at Alice.

"Alice, i was wondering if you have anything special to do this Hogsmeade trip. We could, i don't know, go somewhere after or before we meet with our own friends." Frank said to her as a bit of uncertainty was evident in his voice.

Everyone stared at Alice as she stared at him with great shock evident in her eyes.
"I-i am... wow. That is.... Well, yeah sure perhaps we can be with our friends then we could go somewhere together." Alice stumbled upon her answer.

Frank smiled at her and nodded. Adelaide looked at her friends, they all looked so happy and beyond proud and thrilled for their friend. She, herself, was more than excited for Alice who was dreaming of the day that Frank would ask her. Then like many heart-warming moments, it had to be ruined, when James rushed towards them.
