The two make it to Cody's house.

As they get in, Cody looks around. "Good, looks like my dad's out."

"What if he comes back?" Noah asked.

"Don't worry he never comes home early." They go upstairs.

Cody closed the door to his room behind them.

Noah looked around. Cody was very nerdy. He had posters everywhere and the tv was on to the main menu of a game.

"Why'd you leave the game on?" Noah asked.

"Because this game has no save feature... so I had to keep it on."

"You... have to play it all in one go?"

"No, it autosaves at the end of every chapter, but I can't figure this one out." Cody explained.

"Let me try." Noah said, grabbing the controller.

"Sure, but this is the 3rd chapter... do you know how to play?"

"I'll figure it out." Noah said, sitting down and starting it.

Cody sat next to him and watched him play.

Noah struggled a bit at first as he didn't know how to play.

"Why isn't he jumping?" Noah asked.

"Oh, you jump with B button instead of A." Cody pointed out.

"Ohh." Noah realized and then slowly picked up on the rest.

Noah made it through the part that Cody was struggling with.

"Wait... what did you do?" Cody asked.

"He mentioned it being dry, right? So you have to get the water from the city." Noah explained.

"Oh my gosh... I've been wondering why I couldn't get any water from, like, the sinks..."

Noah laughed a bit. "I just happen to find the water, I didn't go looking for it."

"That explains it. They didn't say anywhere where you can get the water." Cody complained.

"Here, why don't you continue?" Noah passed the controller.

Cody grabbed it and played for a bit while Noah watched.

"How do I get passed them?" Cody wondered.

"Do you have the ability to go invisible ?" Noah asked.

"No, I didn't equip it."

Cody then equipped the ability and used it past the guards.

"Wow... how'd you know that would work?" Cody asked.

"I noticed the ability earlier and was thinking about it the whole time." Noah explained.

"You're really good at this. What other games do you play?" Cody asked.

"I don't really have time to play much, to be honest... but do you have any mutliplayer games?"

"Yes! I've got tons!" Cody pulled out a box of games.

The two boys spent the next few hours playing together.

At one point, they're playing a combat game.

"I'm no good at this..." Noah complained.

"You'll get better with practice. This time, however, I'm gonna obliterate you."

"I've got more health than you. I can still win by luck." Noah pointed out.

"I don't think so. It's time for my special attack!!" Cody said dramatically as he stood up to hit the combination of buttons on his controller.
