1 year later

Cody woke up with his upper body on the floor.

He looked around, causing the rest of him to fall down.

He quickly got up to look around again. Noah was not there.

He grabbed his phone to text him.

'Noah? Where are you?'

After not long, the reply came.

'I'll be back soon.'

The reply confused Cody.

What time did Noah leave the house? It was still pretty early.

Cody maybe expected him to be at work but that didnt seem to be the case.

He decided to get ready while waiting.

Soon after, Noah walked into the room.

"You're back!" Cody went to hug him.

"Yeah, I've got a surprise for you."

"A surprise??" Cody asked excitedly.

"Come on." Noah grabbed Cody's hand and walked him out.

There was a car waiting outside.

"You got me a car??" Cody asked excitedly.

"No!" Noah calmed him down. "The car is gonna take us somehwere."

"Oh! Let's go, I can't wait!!"

They sit in the backseats.

Noah gives a nod to the driver who then starts driving.

"This is so fancy!! Are we going on a date??" Cody asked.

"No... something much better than a date."

"What's the better than a date?? Sex?? But we already did that last night!" Cody said in disbelief.

Noah groaned and gave the driver an apologetic look.

"No, Cody. Better than that."

"Better than sex???" Cody said in shock.

"Okay, please lower your voice..." Noah said.

"Sorry, I'm just so excited!"

"We'll be there soon. I'm excited too." Noah told him.

Cody leaned on Noah a bit.

Noah smiled at him.

After a short drive, they make it.

They get out of the car.

They were in front of an apartment building.

"A hotel??" Cody asked.

"What? No. It's an apartment..."

Cody gasped and then stayed quiet. He gave Noah a patient yet excited look.

Noah understood and grabbed his hand. "Let's go."

They walked inside.

Noah took him to an elevator, clicked the number 2 and they waited in anticipation.

Cody was trying really hard to contain himself.

Noah led him to one of the doors and pulled out a key to open it.

Cody was jumping at this point.

They walk inside and Cody finally let out a scream.

"We're gonna live here??" Cody asked excitedly.

"Yup. It's 100% ours." Noah told him happily.

Cody screamed excitedly and looked around. "This place is perfect..."

He turned around to look at Noah again and he was on one knee.

Cody's face immediately dropped and tears quickly formed in his eyes.

Noah smiled at him. "Will you marry me?"

Cody's tears streamed down his face and he covered his gaping mouth with his hands.

He nodded.

Noah stood up and quickly wrapped his arms around him.

Cody sobbed in Noah's chest for a bit.

When he finally calmed down, Noah put the ring on Cody's finger.

"What do you think?" Noah asked.

"It's perfect..." Cody smiled at his ring.

Noah wiped Cody's tears away and smiled at him.

They kissed.
