[8] Changes

When Cody was in class, his mind was occupied with thoughts of Noah.

Noah really likes him... he couldn't believe it.

He looked at Noah who was back to writing in his notebook.

He remembered his earlier entries where he wrote about when he first started to like Cody.

Cody blushed and smiled, thinking about it.

Noah didn't use his name and wrote vaguely but he described moments that Cody remembered so it was obviously him.

Cody thought back to their first year together when they were placed together for an assignment.

Noah had the same poker face he always had. Cody would have never imagined he was hiding all those feelings inside.

He couldn't believe Noah liked him since they first met.

While lost in thought, Cody was drawing a bunch of hearts on his paper.

The sound of the bell snapped him out of his thoughts.

He looked around and saw everyone already walking out.

He grabbed his stuff and also left.

He found Trent and went to him. "Hey, buddy!"

"Huh? Oh, hey, Cody." Trent barely looked at him.

Cody looked where Trent was looking and saw Justin talking to some people.

"Isn't he hot?" Cody said.

"What? Oh- uh- is that your type?" Trent tried being subtle.

Cody smiled at him. "You're so funny, Trent. Let's go talk to him."

"What? Why? I don't need to do that..."

"Come on..." Cody pulled him over.

"Hi, Justin! I used to be a big fan!" Cody told him.

"Used to be? What happened?" Justin asked.

"Well... it was really hard to keep up with updates when I couldn't access the internet, so I just stopped." Cody said honestly.

"What a boring reason. I thought you were gonna say something hurtful."

"Nah! I still think you're smoking hot!" Cody smiled at him.

Justin chuckled smugly. "Thank you. I do my best."

Trent had no idea how Cody could say such things without feeling embarrassed.

"I believe you two are in my class. What are your names?"

"I'm Cody. This is Trent."

"Hi." Trent greeted.

Justin eyed Trent and then leaned his face toward Trent's. "Green eyes. They're lovely."

Trent blushed and backed away a bit.

Cody laughed a bit.

"I think I'm gonna like you guys." Justin said with a smile.

Noah appeared next to Cody.

"Oh, hey, Noah." Cody smiled.

Noah looked at Justin.

Justin winked.

Noah blushed and looked away.

Justin chuckled. "I love it here..."

The four of them sit together for lunch.
