Cody skipped out of class and waited for Noah by the door.

When Noah finally came out, he didn't stop to see Cody.

"Noah!" Cody whined and followed him.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't see you." Noah said.

"Really? But I was literally hitting the gritty."

Noah rolled his eyes. "Right, what I meant was I didn't want to see you."

"Aw, Noah, you're so mean~ let's go eat some pizza!"

"Do you have enough money for pizza?" Noah asked.

"Yeah! I stole a 20 from my dad!" Cody said proudly.

"Are you serious? What if he notices?"

"He never does." Cody shrugged.

"Well, I'm sorry, but I can't."

"What? What do you mean you can't?"

"I mean I have plans."

"Plans? What plans?? Without me??"

"Yes, Cody. I don't always have to be with you, you know."

"What? You don't love me??"

"Shut up!" Noah whispered and looked around to make sure no one heard. "Just because we're dating doesn't mean we have to do everything together..." Noah said quietly.

"It doesn't?" Cody frowned.

"Sorry, but I'm busy today. I'll see you later, okay?" Noah said before walking off.

Cody teared up.

Cody was currently crying in the arms of Trent who was trying to comfort him.

Justin was there too.

"Wait, speak slower... I can't understand you." Trent told him.

Cody lifted his head and was hyperventilating while trying to talk. "Noah's... cheating on meeeeee!!!" Cody sobbed.

"What..?" Justin asked in disbelief.

"Cody, do you really believe that?" Trent asked.

"I didn't think he was the type, but it's truuuueeee!!"

"Okay, explain what happened." Trent said.

"I told him that I stole m-money from my dad so... so we can get p-pizza... and he said he was busyyyyy!" Cody sobbed.

Trent and Justin eyed each other.

"You think he's cheating on you because he has other plans?" Trent asked.

"Exactly! You do get it!"

"Cody... how is that cheating? You don't know what he's doing." Trent told him.

"But why wouldn't he tell me...? And we always do everything together..." Cody whined.

"It's okay to do things alone too... I'm sure you miss him, but he's his own person, you know?" Trent explained.

"You mean... he just wants to be alone?" Cody asked.

"Maybe. It's possible. If he doesn't tell you what he's up to, there's probably a reason. Don't assume awful things."

"But I want to be with him all the time..."

"Yeah, it's okay. I'm sure he misses you too." Trent tried.
