Azura was once again drifting through the endless, silent darkness of outer space. As she traveled through the boundless void, those strange, translucent bubbles reappeared around her. Each one containing a different reality.

In one bubble, a young boy and a talking yellow dog were fighting a blue-skinned, bearded king. In another bubble, two brothers and an elf girl set out on a long journey to return a dragon egg to his mother. In the third bubble, a girl with platinum-blonde hair faced terrifying demons, while her grandmother, floating beside her as a spirit, protected and guided her.

Then, however, Azura noticed another world. She began to slow down, then stopped in front of the bubble. Her gaze lingered on it for several long seconds as the images from the story flashed before her one after another.

The story was about a betrayed knight and a peculiar shape-shifting girl, bound together by a strange, chaotic friendship. But it wasn't the knight who really interested Azura, it was the girl.

The shape-shifter simply wanted someone to finally accept her. She longed for a single true friend, yet wherever she went, people saw her as a monster. Loneliness slowly consumed her from within, and the pain dragged her deeper and deeper, until the darkness swirling inside her completely engulfed her.

And when even the knight finally turned his back on her... something inside her snapped for good.

The girl transformed into a monstrous beast.

Azura watched the events unfold without moving. She saw the destruction. The rage. The despair. And then she saw how the girl finally turned against herself, because she could no longer bear either herself or the loneliness that weighed on her forever. But at the last moment, the knight stopped her, apologized to her, and said to the girl in a trembling voice:

"You're not alone..."

At that moment, Azura felt something tighten in her chest. Tears rolled down her cheeks, silently lost in the darkness of the infinite cosmos.

A few seconds later, Azura wiped the tears from her face with a trembling motion, then slowly turned her back on the bubble and found herself face-to-face with Hope.

The grimhyena watched her master for a few seconds, then slowly turned and set off into the blackness. Azura hesitated for a moment, but then followed the animal.

As Hope stepped forward, the groundless darkness cracked strangely beneath her paws. The thin cracks crept farther and farther apart, crisscrossing the black void like a spiderweb, and when they reached the bubbles floating around them, the bubbles burst silently and vanished without a trace.

The cracks, however, did not stop. They raced unstoppably across the endless void, tearing ever-larger chunks out of the darkness. Wherever they spread, the black veil slowly receded, and something else began to take shape beneath it. At first, only blurred outlines were visible, but as the cracks spread, more and more details came into view.

The hidden world gradually unfolded before Azura's eyes, until the place that darkness had hitherto concealed from her slowly became recognizable.

Dry, crusty soil crunched beneath Azura's feet, and a dark-gray sky stretched out above her head, while thick storm clouds swirled together in slow, menacing movements, completely swallowing up all light. The entire landscape looked as if it were the remnant of a long-forgotten world, kept alive only by decay.

Azura's tense gaze swept over the familiar, desolate landscape again and again, but Hope paid no attention to her surroundings. The grimhyena pressed forward unwaveringly.

The next moment, the sky rumbled furiously. A blinding bolt of lightning zigzagged through the clouds, and for a single brief moment, the white light illuminated the landscape.
