Kalin And Myles: Love Triangle

Chapter 23

-Noelle's POV-
I've never been so upset and Morgan is ignoring me and not letting me in her room.
Myles isn't answering my calls.
Why am I being ignored?!!
The best Aunt in the world, basically my second mom, just passed away and no one seems to care about my feelings. I could use a hug or two also.
I know Morgan is way more upset than me which she should be because it was her mom but I really just wanna be with her right now.
That's the bad thing about us both being upset at the same time.
She hates to be around people and I hate to be alone. We don't go well together when we're both upset.

A few minutes after I knocked on Morgan's door and got ignored Ryan did the same thing but got in.
Morgan and Ryan were so close to their mom, I feel for them.
As much as I'm hurting about it, I can't imagine how they are handling it.
Today was the first day I've seen real tears from Morgan. The only tears I ever see from her are she laughing so hard or a movie made her cry.
It broke my heart even more to see her in so much pain but there was nothing I could do it can do.
I really hope with this happening she doesn't start shutting people out.
I would lose it if she shut me out. We are pretty joined at the hip in most things and if she shuts me out I'm not sure how I'll be able to deal with that.

It's been about an hour and I realize I'm the only one in the living room and as soon as I realize that in walks Ryan.

"How is she doing?" I ask because I wanna know.
"She's actually doing alright at the moment and she said you could go in there if you still want to." Thank god.
"Of course I still wanna go in there. But how are you holding up?"
"I'm not too good. Just trying to stay strong for Morgan."
"I've never seen a brother love his sister as much as you do."
"That's what big brothers are for."
I give him a hug and go to Morgan's room.
"Hey. Sorry for ignoring you. I just didn't wanna talk to anyone but Ryan at the time."
"I understand completely. Have you talked to Kalin?"
"No but Ryan did and he got pretty upset about what happened. How about you. You talk to Myles?"
"I tried but he wouldn't answer his phone."
"That's strange. I should probably call Kalin. He will know where Myles is and he can tell him to call you"
"Ok. I'll be outside whenever you get off the phone."

I walk out and go sit on the front porch waiting to get my call from Myles.

-Morgan's POV-
The phone rings about 15 times before he finally picks up.
"Hey what took you so long?"
"Sorry me and Myles went for a really long run to get our minds off what happened and we just got back in. Perfect timing."
"Tell Myles to call Noelle. She wants to talk to him."
"Ok. How are you doing? I miss you."
"I finally got my crying under control but I'm not doing too good. Just holding it all in so I don't go crazy."
"Well I'll be there before you know it."
"Wait you're coming down here"
"Did you think I was just gunna not be there for you in this time of need"
"I don't know. I guess I should've known better though."
"I would be a terrible boyfriend if I just stayed up here and watched you be in pain and not do anything about it."
"This is why I love you so much Kalin. I wish you were here right now. I could use a kiss."
"Well then give me one."
I was a little confused by this so decided to turn around...Kalin was standing there.
I dropped the phone and ran over to him and hugged him as tight as humanly possible then gave him the most passionate kiss.
"Oh my gosh. How did you get here so fast."
"When we dropped Yall off at the airport me and Myles just sat in the car for a few minutes and I had already told your brother I was coming tomorrow to give you time with your family but I couldn't wait. I had to be with you. I knew you would need me. So I got on the next plane to Georgia to be with you."
"Kalin. You're going to make me start crying again. Did Myles come with you? Or did he actually go on that run? Haha"
"I'm glad you're laughing. But there was only one seat left available in the plane I got on and he let me go because I needed to be with you. He said he would be down here tomorrow tho."
"Noelle is gunna be upset but I'm sure she will understand."
Speak of Noelle, she walks in the room and looks so confused like she's seeing things.
"Kalin? How did you get here?"
"I got on the next plane to Georgia after yalls."
"Oh. Myles didn't come?"
"He couldn't. There was only one available seat left on the plane and he let me come. He will be down here tomorrow."
"Oh man. He still hasn't called me."
"I talked to him when I landed here. He went for a run and left his phone at the house so he could think better and not have distractions."
"Oh ok. So he should call me later."
"So Myles actually went on a run. That's where you got that from."
I said.
"Haha yeah I had to say something to not make you suspicious so it would be a surprise that I was there"
"Well it worked."

We talked for a while and it kept what happened completely off my mind.
How am I handling this so well?
Most people would be a wreck.
I knew I was good at hiding my emotions but this is taking it to another level!

I'm not looking forward to the funeral.

My mom is gone...forever!
