My fingers were almost digging into the keyboard as I desperately defended myself.
Kainis. Ang dami ng bawas sa health bar ko. This mage is insane!
I was busy clearing the monsters in the upper lane when a lightning bolt struck me. I couldn't move for a few seconds, leaving me open for the mage's endless attacks.
"Tama na 'yan, Thams! Gumala na tayo," reklamo ni Serine na nakaupo sa tabi ko.
"Just wait, okay? Can't you see I'm struggling here?" sagot ko habang nakatutok pa rin sa monitor.
"Ilang 'wait' na ba 'yan? Jusko! Sino ba 'yang kalaban at nahihirapan ka? Eh, professional player ka pa naman?" dagdag niya, at ramdam kong umusod pa siya palapit.
I pressed Nyx's second skill—stealth mode, with speed boost. Agad akong dumiretso sa bush, hindi para tumakas, kundi para maghanda. Hindi kasama sa bokabularyo ko ang umatras sa laban.
I slammed my regen button, then suddenly emerged from the bush and launched my ultimate straight at the mage. His reaction said it all—he didn't expect me to still be there.

The corner of my lips curved into a smirk. Finally. This guy had been targeting me the whole game like I was his only enemy.
