A few months later, it was Raelyn's first day at fifty one. Joe was on temporary leave due to an injury he had obtained during a rescue. She was asked to fill in for him, upon her graduation from the academy.

"Hey look who it is!" Hermann said when he saw her walking up to the trucks, a bag hanging off her shoulder.

"Hey guys." She smiled.

"Hey kiddo!" Peter said, coming into the garage and hugging her.

"So dad, where am I?"

"You, my dearest daughter, are on kitchen duty until we get a call."

Everyone started writing down their breakfast orders and handed them to her.

"What do I look like? A mobile restaurant?"

"Start cooking." Peter laughed as he handed her a spatula.

"That's cute, dad, it really is."

Mackenzie was flipping through the channels, Matt next to her.

"Dad, when are you gonna teach me how to drive?"

"Ask your mother."

She looked over at Gabby. "Mom, when is dad gonna teach me how to drive?"

"When pigs fly."

"So never?"

"Most likely."

"Can't Rae teach me?"

"You gotta be twenty five. I'm only nineteen. Sorry kid."

"Have aunt Christie teach me then."

"She's got her own kid to worry about."

"Violet's already driving, dad."

"I don't trust her, you or your sister for crap behind the wheel of a car."

"I HEARD THAT!" Raelyn said from behind the stove.

"Two eggs, sunny side up, side of home fries and a few strips of bacon. Don't forget the cup of black coffee."

"I'll pour that cup of coffee down the front of your pants." She whispered as she turned the stove on.

Mackenzie and Terrance heard her, so they quietly laughed to themselves.

"What did you say?" He raised his eyebrows.

"Nothing, uncle Matt." She smiled, as she cracked eggs into the frying pan.

"Welcome to fifty one." Gabby said.

"What's your breakfast order? Since everyone else is giving me one."

"I actually had something before I got here. But I'll help you cook if you want."

"PLEASE."

Gabby laughed and grabbed a spatula from the utensil holder. Shortly after the rest of the guys came in, a tall, good looking man came in, maybe seventeen at the most. He took off his sunglasses.

"Is there a Rae Mills here?"

"What do you want, Jonah?" She crossed her arms.

"You promised you'd take me to meet my mom and pops."

She gave him Jay's card and said to go to that address.

"You need to go there because I have a job to do here. Now get!"

"Alright, alright." He put his hands up and then walked out.

"She is definitely her mother's child." Mouch joked.
