Hyunjin's POV :

"Honey wake up, it's 6am!"

H-huh..? It feels like I've only slept for 5 minutes ; I don't wanna see our homeroom teacher Mr Yang today!

"Hyunjin wake up! Felix is already awake and breakfast is going to get cold.."

Felix is already awake..? How is that weak boy awake before me?! The strong smell of Gyeran Bap fills my nostrils and my bedroom ; that tempting smell shoots me up from my bed.

"I'm awake!"

My mom's breakfast never fails to awake me from my deep sleep, the smell of her dishes lingers around the house and I love it! Whether it is the sweet smell of fresh milk bread or a savoury smell of Tonkatsu her food will always impress my tastebuds. As I walk down the stairs that pure fresh steamy smell slaps me in the face. Felix reminds me of my six year old self sitting at the breakfast table waving my legs around under the table impatiently. Gosh even though the tempting smell is just some Gyeran Bap it still leaves me in a chokehold.. Is Felix laughing at me..? All I did was sit opposite him just like always so what's so funny?

"What..?"

"Your hair!"

This must be the first time he's seen my morning hair.. Maybe I do need a hair cut..

"Oh yeah it's always like this.."

His eyes are widening at the site of my mom's Gyeran Bap ; these simple actions are just reminding me more of a child, yet he still tries to argue that he's not a baby anymore! Of course I repeat the exact same reaction I have every time I taste my mother's cooking ; It's just too good to not make a fuss about! I roll my eyes back to my brain in satisfaction.

"Is it yummy sweetheart?"

I can see Felix's eyes start to glisten as he takes a spoonful of rice and a chunk of egg. He really adores my mothers cooking, it comforts my paranoia filled heart.

"Mhm~ It's really yummy!"

"I'm glad you enjoy it."

Oh yeah me and Felix have to go and speak with Mr Yoon when we make it to school ; I'm really dreading that visit.. Ever since Minjun left our high school it's felt like school life has gotten more peaceful. Ever since he left me and Felix haven't had a single day where anxiety has followed us due to Minjun ; what a relief. Minjun left us alone for majority of the time expect from when he'd make snarky remarks about Felix's condition but it wasn't anything we couldn't handle ; he's just a typical low-life
high school bully. I shove down the remaining spoonfuls of Gyeran Bap down my throat and wash it down with two sips of Milkis.

"Hyunjin wait for Felix to finish!"

I don't wanna be late today..!

"I just wanna get ready really quickly, I don't wanna get a late mark!"

"Hyunjin-!"

Just run up the stairs and close the door before she can realise.. I'm not a role model student but today I don't wanna be late, I'm changing up my ways ; if I can't get decent grades then I'll exchange those grades for a decent attendance mark! I'm so lucky that my school uniform is actually not 'unfashionable'. I like to  dress myself in strikingly fashionable clothes so it's ironic that my uniform isn't that bad! My trousers are a tiny bit crinkled up but it's not noticeable at all so I'll be all set. Before I leave I should make sure Felix is ready.

"Felix are you ready??"

I knock on his door impatiently.

"Give me five minutes!!"
