XI: Akiko's Pozy

Third POV

The time read three o' clock from when Izuku had to leave.

He had to fill up on gas at one point and he'd been driving in a consistent straight line with only one or two turns.

He knew Katsuki said so, but he was curious about the secrets of this car.

It looked brand new, if not straight out of the factory line, so he wondered why Katsuki wanted this to be taken away.

There was nothing that he had seen in the back or front seat, and he wasn't sure if there was anything in the trunk.

"Hmm..." Izuku hummed, looking down to the gps that said he had another thirty minutes to go before his destination, "This job is quite boring."

But, he was thankful.

He gently pressed on the brakes as he approached the next intersection, stopping behind a greyish-blue toned vehicle.

His fingers drummed against the steering wheel, finally taking his eyes off the road ahead and to the side where something caught his attention.

It was shabby, and not that noticeable if you didn't know what business went on there.

It was a small restaurant, family owned for the past twenty years.

And yet, that was where Izuku and Awase had their first date after getting married.

When Akiko was old enough to eat real food, Izuku dreamt about bringing all three together as a family.

The reflection of the green light hit the windshield of the car, snapping Izuku out of such thoughts.

"...Like that'll ever happen..." as he then accelerated faster, his grip tightening.

Over the past few days, with their upside down lives, even though from the start it's never been right side up.

Izuku had grown a hatred for Awase.

Any time he tried to think of the sweetest moments between them, Izuku couldn't help but feel a surge of hatred.

Awase was the reason Izuku was being separated from Akiko.

Awase was why Izuku was having to do such strange missions.

Izuku gritted his teeth, feeling his eyes water.

"Stupid..." he muttered under his breath, blindly trusting Awase like that.

With a lengthy blink, he kept going, listening to another order from the gps for him to make another left.

He made his turn, only mere seconds later did he here sirens behind him.

Great.

Izuku grunted, swallowing thickly as his gaze flashed over to the small Manila folder that was supposed to have everything.

He pulled over to the shoulder of the rode, pressing a hand to his chest to try and calm himself down.
