XXXIV: And to Akiko

Third POV

Katsuki had tucked Izuku back into bed, giving the omega once last glance before it was time.

Stepping out of the room with a quiet thud, Katsuki was slightly startled by Kirishima who was making his way up to depart valuable information.

"You ready? It's almost time." The redhead murmured, acknowledging the solemn look on Katsuki's face, knowing they only had two hours remaining.

"I have to be." Katsuki answered, not wanting to take another glance at his bedroom, "Anyways, what have we figured out?"

The two of them headed down the hall to one of the four weapons room.

The room smelt strongly of metallics and gunpowder barely made Katsuki's nose twitch as he loaded up on his two pistols and one major gun.

The M249 light machine gun.

"Setsuna Tokage and Awase had connections. In fact, we even called Miss Inko and she confirmed Tokage was the same woman Awase was connected with." Kirishima noted, "In fact, so was Shiozaki as we assumed from earlier."

"That physician part was accurate, but after a bit more digging, we found out that she's also one of their major drug export handler."

"Although, as of recently their sales have fallen through and they needed quick money in order to pay off their drug suppliers so they had average civilians, including Awase pay them in exchange for lavish items and personal booty calls." Kirishima wiggled his brows.

"Mystery solved." Katsuki muttered, as a final click sounded in the chamber, letting the rifle fall to his waist, his sharp eyes narrowing.

A dash of irritation on his complexion.

"We're heading to the drop spot now." He ordered, slightly startling the redhead who looked to his crusted timepiece on his wrist, "Gather everyone else."

"Now? It's not time yet-!" Kirishima stated, as he watched Katsuki exit the room and was moving down the hall at a furious pace, "Do you think they're already going to be there with Akiko or something?"

Katsuki shrugged, "Doesn't neccesarily matter."

"Those bums have been stealing from the beginning from us and they knew it, but they used a third party source as a cover plan while operating behind my back."

Kirishima furrowed his brows, pulling out his phone to send a mass text to those at the company, "What-?"

"The drop off zone is the docking area; the same one we shipped the white car Izuku was driving off at."

Now Kirishima was confused.

How the hell did they sneak that by them without a report?

Let alone, how did Katsuki know?

He shook his head, just staring at his friend who grew angrier by the second.

"You think they'll give us Akiko there?" Kirishima inquired, as they were now outside the manor and the sky was now a vibrant shade of blues, pinks and yellows.

"No." Katsuki grunted, "If anything, we'll find have to find her ourselves, so tell everyone to mobilize to those docks."

"Nirengeki Shoda had no intention of actually giving her back; he planned on collecting the money and hiding her so incase we went to storm their homes or bases we wouldn't find her. Keeping her within their grasp to continue to milk her."

Katsuki tsked, knowing it was a smart plan using her as bait for him.

If their own places were compromised, why not use the place of the people you're trying to steal from if it's already proved incredibly convenient.

"But they gave you the coordinates of your own docks, wouldn't they expect you to go there anyways?" Kirishima called out, still unsure of it all.

Katsuki nodded, giving Kirishima "I don't care about Akiko, remember."

"They think I care for Izuku and Akiko and naturally they'd expect for me to come on time with everything prepared and having my own people on standby. on time too."

"There's a baby at stake so they assume I wouldn't want to do anything too risky."

He then gave Kirishima a look,

"I doubt they'd be expecting me 2 whole hours early. And if they are..."

"I'll shoot them dead for stealing dear shit to me."

Getting into seperate cars, the two of them exited the manor's driveway at lightning speeds.

• • •

The sound of heavy childlike sobbing filled the air of the central docks.

Owned and operated by the one and only Katsuki Bakugo.

"Ugh, Shiozaki, shut that baby up already." Tokage groaned, looking to Kodai who was busy setting up their own men.

Everything was going according to plan.

Akiko, who'd been left dehydrated and in pain from being jostled throughout the day was officially at her limit.

Her cries were uncontainable as all she wanted was to be comforted by her dam and the man she'd gotten used to.

"I'm trying, but nothing seems to please her." Shiozaki sighed, adjusting Akiko on her hip, "Just two more hours and then we'll see the end of it."

Shiozaki brushed some of her hair back, adjusting her earpiece, "Is Shoda in?"

"He plans on coming later, he says there's some things to wrap up once the money has been dropped off." Kodai answered, as the three women gathered together to discuss.

"We really put a 1.6 billion dollar bounty on this brat's head," Tokage tched, "We haven't gotten a single response yet we're positive he's coming."

She then walked over to Akiko, pinching the bridge of the girls alread reddened nose, "Time for you to act as much as your worth."

Her eyes then followed the red shipping container meant to carry drug cargo, "Crate's ready, go on and put her in."

Before walking away with Kodai to ensure the rest of the plan.

Shiozaki let out a sigh, her moral compass all over the place but just enough money would make anyone look past it.

She grabbed the blanket that was used to hold Akiko and walked to the crate that had just be placed amongst the others.

Lined up in rows by color.

100 in total.

Even if Katsuki did make it on time with his crew, they'd have to move fast.
