XXXV: Baby Money

Third POV

Nightfall was approaching.

The sun was just barely peaking over the horizon as Shoda's men were stationed patiently for the prime Alpha and his crew's arrival.

Presently on one of the watch sides, radio static came in before word was finally relayed to Shoda himself.

"Boss, they've arrived."

Inside the loading warehouse of the shipping zone, Shoda had made himself quite comfortable merely observing the security camera of dozens of cars pulling into the docking lot.

"I've got this," he thought to himself, looking to the left and right of him where Shiozaki and Tokage stood, both armed and ready, "Everything's going according to plan."

Through the industrial windows of the warehouse, he could see the cars form almost a U-shape in front of the west side of the building.

Shoda's guards making the first move by protecting that area.

What was once was dark, became a brilliant and devastating orange-red as screams and the sound of the glass paneled shattered.

Tokage was the first to step forward to the windows that had been completely destroyed by what looked to be small grenades.

"What the hell-?" She cursed, pulling out her gun, while Shiozaki stepped in front of Shoda.

"Careful." A voice sounded from behind them.

A low, malice-filled voice.

The three of them turned to the back entrance of the warehouse, the entrance that should've served as a connection to the docks.

That's when they saw him.

Katsuki Bakugo.

In his hand and completely slumped dead was Reiko Yanagi, the chief sniper for this coup.

A bloody streak trailed from from her body, creating a gruesome image that was to be imprinted at the back of Shiozaki, Tokage and Shoda's mind.

"I hope you weren't attached to her and her partner." Katsuki added, taking another step forward before tossing her corpse to the side, allowing Kirishima to come through holding Sen Kaibara.

"...Sen..." Shiozaki gasped, completely unsure how they got to the man that was supposed to be in hiding, "How did you..?"

Katsuki then turned to the broken windows, "Now I really hope you weren't attached to those guys out there."

"At most, I believe all you'll have is their ashes and maybe a limb or two, depending."

A nonchalant demeanor encapsulated the prime alpha, even though Kirishima, the one who remained quiet in all of this, knew Katsuki was seething.

"I-I'd be careful." Shoda warned, unsure how his meticulous planning had  gone, or rather, blown out the window like this, "Don't you want to know where your precious Akiko is?"
