Half Truths

Omniscient POV

She was currently laying down on her stomach in her area on the tour bus holding her phone thinking of what to text him. Shit did she even want to do that? Was this even a good idea? She wasn't sure if she should. She missed being with him and laughing with him. She missed making love to him. Even Eissa was asking why they weren't spending time together. Eissa was getting tired of her being sad so he went to hang out with Randy on the other tour bus. 

He still wasn't really talking to her and it had been while at this point. They didn't have that many dates left for the tour. When they would talk, he would go back and forth with her over something stupid. The last time he came and tried to talk to her, for her it was at the worst time. She was literally getting ready to go on stage. 

She had changed into sweats and t-shirt with no bra. She was trying to relax, but having a difficult time. She couldn't stop crying. This whole situation hurt her to her core just like it did him. She tried to explain, but he just wouldn't hear it. He was even distant when they performed together. He wouldn't even give her the time. Or they were arguing. 

She loved him so much, he had to know that. She couldn't believe he pushed her away after it took her forever to get to this point. To be fully open with him. She had so many trust issues as it was. She tried to tell him what had happened. She knew she should have told him sooner, but she was trying to now and he kept pushing her away. Gil had warned her. Why didn't she listen? Gil wasn't even really talking to her either. He was still pissed with her. She knew she screwed up. She knew this was her fault.

She didn't know why he wouldn't listen to her. Even after that particular day, she went to find him to talk after the show and he ignored her again. She didn't know how much more she could take and tolerate. He was her everything. This was why she didn't want anyone close to her. She felt like she had a tendency to fall hard. Although with Darius it was different. He treated her different and he only saw her. He could see beyond her bullshit and she knew he would call her on it, but he did it with respect and love.

Darius was sitting with the guys as they were laughing and taking shots with Gil, Pres and Dean. He couldn't get into what they were talking about. He couldn't stand this anymore. He really missed her. He loved her, he was in love with her. Why couldn't he get passed his pride and let her explain? Usually she was the stubborn one. Seeing JD on her really pissed him off. And JD having his hands on her ass made it worse. He saw red when that happened. He should've beat his ass harder. This was the first time he was in a relationship where he was fully invested, and he felt betrayed by her. 

He got to at least be with Eissa. He was still hanging out with him. Janet didn't know that Randy would let Darius get him when he had him so Darius could spend time with Eissa. He had grown to love that little boy like he was his own. He was surprised Janet didn't know and Eissa didn't say anything to her. He didn't tell him to keep secrets or anything. He wondered if Randy said something.

He took a deep breath and just as he was about to get up to go to her, she came to him. 

"Darius can I talk to you real quick?"

He looked up shocked his brows furrowed in confusion that she came out. He nodded. He glanced at Guero who was equally shocked. He followed her to her room and closed the door behind him. He stood with the door to his back. She turned and sat on the bed facing him pulling her legs up under her chin. 

"What's up?"

She sighed. "Ummm....you were right."

"Right about what? What happened? What are you talking about?"
