A day after the battle between Toman and Black Dragons, Rian is now with her sister.
She sat on the couch, one leg on the coffee table. They're at Mei's place.
Rian told everything that had happened yesterday at the church. "So, where are you yesterday when the big battle happened?"
"Take a guess."
"I wouldn't be asking if I'm as smart as that!" She deadpanned.
"I was stalking Kisaki and Hanma." Mei answered, smacking Rian's leg off the coffee table at the same time, making her whine.
"You definitely did more than that." She rubbed on the part she got smacked on the leg, while staring fiercely at Mei.
"I stalked them. And met Chifuyu along with Mitsuya yesterday. I untied Chifuyu while Mitsuya showed up to the scene." Mei said, remembering that Chifuyu got tied up by Kisaki and Hanma, so that everything would go as Kisaki planned.
"And you've found out all his actions?"
"Yeah, all his deeds from then until now. Even where he lived, his birthday, his height, his school, his favorite food—"
"Woah, woah, woah. Okay, I think that's enough." Rian stopped her sister from continuing as it's going more and more ridiculous.
"I've sent all those to Mikey, he'll know what to do."
"You're like an info collector more than strategist to Toman, ya know?"
"Shut the hell up."
December 31st 2005
It was now time for the festival once a year. It's usually held for citizens to countdown on new years.
There's a huge crowd there, and people are wearing nicely. And to top it all off, Emma made Rian dressed in a kimono that's blue in colour.
"This shit's embarrassing." She mumbled to herself.
"What do you mean? It suits you alot! I'm glad I have this in my wardrobe! Might as well give it to you as a gift!" Emma exclaimed while tidying Rian's hair. Well, it doesn't seem much different than her usual hairstyle though.
"This is my first time..." Rian cried, mentally.
"You should really learn how to dress like Mei, Kiri-chin. You've got very different styles." Mikey recalled. Most of the time, Rian was wearing hoodies, while Mei would change her style almost every time he saw her.

"....." She kept her silence. It's her first time getting dressed up like this, couldn't blame her.
"Yeah, throw those hoodies away and start dressing up already. You can't be dressing like a homeless for your life." Mei agreed with Mikey's words.

"Wait for me, my Emaaaaaa!!" Then, they hear someone yelling so loud. Turning their heads, it's Takemichi who's running towards them.
This yell made Emma turn her head in confusion. "My Emma? What do you mean 'my Emma'?" She thought Takemichi was yelling for her name, turns out he's chasing a piece of wood that's named 'Ema', where people would write their new year wishes on it.
Mikey picked it up from the ground, stopping the piece of wood from flying away. Though he didn't know how it was flying everywhere in the first place.
"Did you mean this?" He asked, making Takemichi panic.
"Ahhh!! Please give that back!"
Mikey giggled at his reaction. "You seem desperate. Here you go!" He handed it to him.
"Hey, people are cheering there." Mei pointed to the direction, where the people are forming a crowd.
