Chapter 13: Run!

"Guys, we must find them," Jahnavi persuaded.

"But how?" questioned Merrick and Allison.

"We don't even know where Evangeline is," said Iris. "Wait, where's Shinkai?"

"DiD hE lEaVe Us????" cried Merrick.

"Whatever," snorted Iris.

"I'm here, I found the rest of them," said Shinkai, who wasn't paying attention.

"Evangeline is fully unconscious," said Allison, shaking her head.

"OMG I'm so lost right now," said Jahnavi, who was extremely worried.

"Should I wack her again with my tennis racquet—WAIT, WHERE IS MY RACQUET!?" yelled Allison.

"It's in the fire...I think," said Jahnavi.

"WTF WTF I WILL KILL YOU ALL," growled Allison, very angry at the incident.

"What if Evangeline sleeps forever—wait, we only have 45 minutes left," gasped Iris.

"It's more important to find the others first. Evangeline is not that weak overall," said Shinkai. "Maybe she can wake up by herself," he added.

"Someone should stay and take care of her," insisted Jahnavi.

"Sure, but who?" questioned Allison.

Nobody wanted to stay behind, as they all wanted to look for clues. After a moment of silence, Iris popped in saying, "I'll stay I guess."

"Suspicious actions—" smirked Jonas.

"SHUT UP," screamed Iris and Allison in their Bakugo mode.

"Johnny, Merrick, and I will go find the clues in the Sanctuary. Jonas, Cody, Shinkai, and Allison can go look in all the rooms," decided Jahnavi. "Iris will stay here with Evangeline."

"Hurry," urged Iris. "You only have 40 minutes left."

"We'll be back soon," said Jahnavi simply.

"I will definitely find the most clues among y'all," procrastinated Merrick.

So then both teams were on their way.

Cody, who was looking in the trash bin and complaining, argued: "Ugh, what did I ever do to land in this situation?!" he growled.

"Yeah, since when did we have to listen to these...girls—?" argued Baxter mutinously.

"We never needed your help, bruh," said Allison, defending herself.

Meanwhile, on the other team, Jahnavi has already found two clues, but were in a puzzle shape.

"How—this is way too hard—" sighed Jahnavi.

"CHEESE!" shouted Merrick.

"Merrick, it's not a time for this," said Jahnavi exasperatedly, walking to where he was.

"But I found the clues, you stupid," argued Merrick.

"How many? Oh—wow—" gasped Jahnavi.

"I can solve the puzzle!" Johnny suggested since he is totally good at math.

Note: He did get strangled at math for his wisdom (or not called wisdom).

But on the other side, where Iris and Evangeline were, Evangeline woke up.

"Wha—?" she gasped, opening her eyes. She winced as her head gave a vicious throb. "What happened?"
"Oh, good, you woke up," said Iris. "We need to help the others find the clues, quickly."

"Hmm?" said Evangeline, not paying attention. She had a whole bunch of Lee Know pictures and Stray Kids songs going through her head.

"So cover me nowwww~" sang Evangeline.

"Cover me now—wait, why are we singing right now—?" asked Iris.

"Lino has my heart~" Evangeline giggled.

"Stop with your Lee Know moments for sure, Evangeline -_-," sighed Iris, concerned.

"Oh-my-oh my god, this blood is pumping crazy," sang Evangeline.

"Cuz I know you'll save me," Iris joined in, unable to resist the lure of the captivating tune.
