Jahnavi stared quietly at the ceiling of her room, reflecting on what had happened yesterday, including going back home and coming up with lies to cover why she had gone to her parents while playing with her new Leebit keychain which bobbed around the atmosphere. The only thing she remembered the most was Milo's last statement before returning to his own house: "Well something must be up to her."

After a long morning of nothing but increased homework and stress, Jahnavi sent a coded message in the 7th graders' group chat, asking for all of them to meet up at the destroyed and abandoned LOA campus. After some heated debates, Jahnavi stated decisively that she was going to find out what was going on, but her main purpose was to find her dear friend Evangeline. "No matter what circumstances, I will be ready to give my life and freedom for Evangeline's life. Although not dying would be preferable...I think."

"Suit yourself because we are definitely not going back to that damn cursed place," the 7th grade boys responded.

"I'm kind of agreeing with you guys now-" said Allison indecisively.

"No, no, NO," yelled Jahnavi with panic in her heart and trouble in her mind.

"It's the police's job. We have to go now because we've done what we could," assured Shinkai.

"Well... then why did we not go home instead of searching for Evangeline when she jumped off the abyss?" Jahnavi asked pointedly.

"That was a huge mistake that we made," Shinkai said while feigning his deepest regret.

"And what about this?"
"Her choice and not us to be concerned about."

"But last time it was HER choice to jump out of the abyss and not our fault,"

"I guess you're right..." sighed Allison. "No, don't you dare," she thought to herself.

"Allison, c'mon! You have more incentive than any of us to find Evangeline and you know it."
"I know I do... but I have family and so do you."

"We're not going to die, Allison."

"This time we ARE!"

"We can't depend on luck to survive."

"Wait, is Evangeline dead?" interrupted Hudson, who found the rest of the class after ditching them.

"I pity you, Hudson, with an IQ less than 22," sighed Jahnavi.

"What?" asked Hudson, confused as always. "What's an IQ?"

"Oh nevermind, get over it already."

"Back to the point, we're not rescuing Evangeline," said Shinkai annoyingly.

"Yes, we are," said Jahnavi.

"No, we aren't," disagreed Jonas.

"Yes, we are," persisted Jahnavi.

"No," stated Jonas.

"Yes," implored Jahnavi.

"Guys STOP!" screamed Shinkai at the top of his lungs.

"Y'all have hearts of metal," scoffed Jahnavi.

"No, we don't. We're following our head and what is the best for us," argued Allison.
"But will you ever follow your heart for once?!" questioned Jahnavi.

"No," responded Jonas.

"Please, for once," begged Jahnavi.

"Absolutely not," decided Jonas.

"You're on your own," declared Milo.

"ALRIGHTY, fine. Gosh, I am just calculating the odds of us surviving, but if nobody comes with you, I am, but I'm going later. I bet that even with a head start, I can still catch up to you," Allison sighed hopelessly.

"Bye, I guess then," waved Shinkai.

"Hmph... bye," replied Jahnavi

As Jahnavi retraced her footsteps to find where they had last seen Evangeline, she planned her secret investigation. "Think, Jahnavi, think! Where could Evangeline be?" thought Jahnavi. "Maybe the door with its chains."

But her legs were shaking so hard that she could not walk straight. "No, just go through that door. You can do it."

Her hand trembled with fear, apprehension, and curiosity as it reached slowly for the door knob. Her fate was unknown, at least to her, very much like Evangeline's.

"WHAT THE FUDGE-" screamed Jahnavi as she opened the door.

"I feel bad for Evangeline," remarked Allison while drinking her coconut water at the cafeteria. "She is mentally insane."

"Who cares?" remarked Milo, eating a banana.

"What if she dies?" wondered Shinkai.

"Evangeline always reproduces another twin," snickered Jonas.

"Jonas, you're such a дерьмо жопа (shitass). She has died for sure now," snarled Allison.

"That's what you said last time," Shinkai pointed out.

"Yes, but to answer your question, both of them will die," responded Milo heartlessly.

"Stop being a pessimist, they might survive," Allison suddenly realized, banging Jonas' head against the glass onto the table.

"AHH- and stop being optimistic, they might NOT survive," countered Jonas.

Sometimes, I wish I could kick you to North Korea where you will marry Kim Jong Un since you're so obsessed with rainbows, ублюдок, (bastard.)" warned Allison.

"Very funny, I didn't know love birds fight so much," thought Milo dreamily. Whack! Allison swung her tennis racquet straight to his skull making him collapse to the ground unconsciously. "Cao ni ma," she said contemptuously with a frown on her face. "And the best part is, you cannot understand what I just said!"

"Oh my...," gasped Shinkai, covering his mouth in horror.
