Chapter 15: Dark Wall

Baxter, who went inside the bathroom stalks, saw Hudson, tied onto the wall, suffocating from the mess the thieves made inside, and having an apple in his mouth.

Grabbing and munching on the apple, Baxter untied poor Hudson, who still couldn't take in what had happened.

"Where are the others?" asked Hudson as soon as he could talk.

"All of them are looking for clues. There's no time to explain what has happened. Let's go," said Baxter.

Meanwhile, while Johnny and Merrick were busy playing in the Sanctuary and pretending that it was Laudes, Allison trotted in, yelling at them.

"IT'S NOT A PLACE TO PLAY!" she screamed.

Ignoring Allison, they threw all the clues around, not caring what was going to happen in the next 30 minutes.

"I am fed up with you all." Allison sighed.

"Mei jia jiao," said Evangeline, face-palming her forehead.

Translation: No manners

"I know right!" exclaimed Allison.

"So the clues said that there is a secret pathway to where the boys are–but where is it? There are too many doors," questioned Jahnavi.

Iris, who was leaning on the wall and watching Jahnavi, Allison, and Evangeline debating and thinking, seemed to be moving farther and farther away.

"What's going on? Ah–AH–AHH—" Iris screamed as she disappeared from the building.

"WHAT HAPPENED?" screamed Evangeline in horror.

"There must be something fishy behind the walls...." observed Allison.

"It's not possible though—" Jahnavi debated.

"We have no other way but to do this," Evangeline boldly exclaimed as she touched the wall. "Hm, it seems like something that you can go through, but how?" she added.

Not caring whether or not she was putting her life on the line, Evangeline pushed herself through the wall, hand in first.

"Jahnavi and Allison, find the others first and tell them what to do. I will go find Iris for now. Adios!" And with that, Evangeline disappeared, leaving both Jahnavi and Allison gaping with shock.

"We have to do what she says, cause we can't be stuck here forever!" exclaimed Jahnavi.

"Ok, you tell the boys to gather all the clues and take care of themselves (or not). Then meet with me so that we can go find Evangeline."

"Deal," agreed Jahnavi. "But should we let a few boys come with us?" inquired Jahnavi thoughtfully.

"Why would we need them to come with us?" demanded Allison grumpily.

"They would like this adventure too!" Jahnavi said thoughtfully.

"THEY'LL JUST BRING MORE TROUBLE!" scolded Allison.

"They can help us!" Jahnavi argued.

"Fine, whatever." Allison scowled.

Meanwhile, Evangeline, who landed in a dark place out of nowhere, stood up and was too confused to even think about what was going on.

"Where am I...?" she murmured to herself, disoriented.

Standing up, but physically weak, Evangeline lit up the matches that she took from Physics class.

Note: Matches were actually used for one of the experiments.

"Bruh, it's so dark here...anyways where the frick is Iris -_-" muttered Evangeline. "I hope Allison and Jahnavi can find their way back soon," she sighed.
