Chapter 46: Reflections: The Last Chapter

"Well then, we're back," reminded Shinkai.

It had only been two hours since the 7th graders were back in the school, mysteriously and will always be unknown. But the school was abandoned, with caution tapes still surrounded. Everything hasn't changed yet, not a single bit.

"I'll get going," remarked Allison. "What year is it?"

"It's the year 2034...according to Evangeline's watch...wait...so it has been ten years already???" gasped Jahnavi in horror.

"Wait, but none of us changed in looks or anything!" laughed Evangeline.

"THIS IS ABSOLUTELY BAD AND HORRIBLE!" said the shocked Allison. "I should be studying for my Master's degree right now!"

"Allison, do you want to live together?" asked Jahnavi.

"Um, ok, but no dirty minded thoughts!!!" shouted Allison at the boys, while death staring at them giggling at her.

"Let's go. Bye Evangeline! See you in a bit!" bidded Jahnavi, going on with Allison while waving at Evangeline.

"Bye bye!"

"We'll be going too," remarked the boys.

"Hm ok bye!"

Here now Evangeline sits alone on the railing, looking at the beautiful sunset while reflecting what had happened in the past ten years.

"I will never forget about everyone," said Evangeline while wiping away the tears from her eyes. "I can sense my mana slowly fading too."

"Yea," remarked Shinkai.

"You're still here?" said the amazed Evangeline.

"Mhm,"

Watching the sunset, the two students gazed at the sky while laughing and talking about what had happened. It was surely a beautiful sunset.

At Jahnavi and Allison's place:

"It's so nice that we are going to the same college!" giggled Jahnavi.

"Hopefully I don't have to deal with your annoying and dirty minded self at class," sighed Allison while facepalming her forehead in pain.
