"So...what do we need to prepare for this sorta-kinda imaginary war?" questioned Milo.

"In a loud blast, all archers, spirit animals, animals, and people with powers will fight the bandits to stop history," answered Evangeline.

"...How did they know about it?" asked Iris, fidgeting with her fingers.

"Everyone was warned beforehand," replied John.

"Then why are we not warned beforehand?!" exclaimed Jonas.

"You all were too hard to find," said John quickly.

"How do we fight?" asked Jonas.

"With your hands, obviously," snickered Jahnavi.

"When the war starts, you will feel possessed and controlled to the moment where you can't control yourself, and at that time, you will all be stuck in an imaginary maze. If you all pass the test, you will all win the war," said the mage.

"Don't worry. You will all be trained under the help of Ella, the archeress," giggled John.

Note: Johnellasyn moment.

Note: We decided to add Ella to the last few chapters of Season 2 at her request.

"What? What? Whatever, I'll just help for the money," sighed Ella, rolling her eyes after hearing why seven 7th graders (and one 6th grader) had come to her.

"I don't want to fight," said the annoyed Milo.

"It's mandatory," replied everyone else.

"If you do it, I will do your homework, okay buddy?" bargained Shinkai.

"Spirit animals do not need to prepare for anything. They only need to rest to increase their inner mana," added the mage.

"Sounds like Milo," teased Jonas.

"As for you Jonas, you are in control of every living animal and plant..." added John, trying to hold back his laugh.

"Yeah, because he is Professor Asparagus," snickered Allison.

Soon, after both the mage and John explained to the remaining 7th graders the process and what was going to happen, they, unfortunately, quarreled about everything in controversy, not noticing that Ella was signaling the hand symbol "help" to Evangeline as usual.

Note: The typical Ella every Latin class.

"This is surely scary," was the 7th graders' response in the end.

"Look, even I can do it!" exclaimed Jonas as he shot an arrow into the center of the flower vase.

"Haiyaa, Jonas..." sighed Jahnavi while joining everyone by facepalming.

"That was a good shot!" protested Jonas.

"Yeah, sure," snorted Cody. "You'll be the one cleaning this up." He gestured toward the broken vase pieces littered on the floor.

"You all suck honestly," sighed Ella, "Watch this." She aimed for the center of an apple.

Crack! The apple split into halves evenly, and everyone else gaped in astonishment.

"Hey, it's time to stop. Time for some serious talk," said the mage as he brought out a purple crystal ball.

"What is that?" asked Milo, who was staring at the ball, seeing memories.

"It holds all the forgotten memories and what the future holds," replied John.

"Then we can use it for the war," laughed Jonas.

"There must be a sacrifice for that, and besides, it's not that trustworthy," answered John.

After a few hours of discussion under the dim light of the candle, everyone crept into their assigned rooms to rest, no one complained about the dreary assignment that was made for them, but nobody noticed Evangeline quietly creeping through the house after everyone was asleep.
