Chapter 22: Very Normal

"I'll go get food then," said Evangeline.

"Okay, be safe," said Allison.

"IRISY COME WIF ME," begged Evangeline in her normal weird way.

"Fine," frowned Iris, but willing to go with her.

"So...what do we do now," asked Jonas again.

"OMG Jonas, stop asking questions," said the annoyed Milo.

"We can light up some matches," suggested Shinkai, who saved some of Evangeline's.

"Ok good, we will also have to find a place to....sleep," said Jahnavi.

Gasping in dismay, Allison found the idea repulsing.

"Bruh," said both Allison and Cody in horror.

"So disgusting," added Cody.

"You're disgusting. Stop having dirty minded moments," replied Allison and Jahnavi.

"HaIyA, why you so nosy," teased Cody.

"Should we buy bread?" asked Evangeline.

"Panis..." reminded Iris.

"Oh god, shush, you don't even know the real meaning cause you haven't even completed Classical Languages," sighed Jahnavi

"Oh my god," sighed Allison too.

"Yeah and some milk and cream," added Jonas.

"HAIYAAAA," interrupted Jahnavi, shaking her head.

Jahnavi and Allison made a list of the eating necessities.

"We will need 11 water bottles, 11 burgers (8 beef and 3 veggie), 11 bags of chips, 11 bananas, asian pears, bunches of grapes, carrots, and apples, 11 trail mix packets, 11 salads, 11 french fry packets, and 11 cookies (3 sugar cookies, 2 oatmeal cookies, 6 chocolate chip cookies)," they decided.

"That sounds reasonable but how tf are we supposed to carry all that," inquired Evangeline. "So much food, and besides, we don't need desserts," added Evangeline.

"Hmph. Use your brain... put all of it in 4 bags and carry one bag per hand," sighed Jahnavi.

"Ta mei you you nao le. Wo men de nao dai dou bu neng work le," replied Iris.

Translation: She doesn't have a brain. Both of our brains can't work anymore.

"Alright, let's go Iris," called Evangeline as they walked through the wall.

"Where are we going to sleep?" asked Cody, who was still having a dirty minded moment

"We need to find a safe place to sleep and we need two people to be at lookout ALWAYS," declared Jahnavi.

"So two people are going to pull all-nighters like Jahnavi did yesterday?" wondered Shinkai.

"No, there will be shifts," clarified Jahnavi.

"Ohhh yeah my bad," apologized Shinkai. ******************************************************************

"We have the food now, people," said Iris, giggling from what she and Evangeline were discussing on the way.

"Where is the food?" asked Cody and Jonas impatiently, as they began digging in the bags of food.

"Ladies first," said Allison elegantly.

Ignoring Allison as usual, the two boys took all of the cookies at the speed of light.

"Don't be like Jahnavi's brother...bruh," sighed Evangeline. "Anyways we don't eat sweets so whatever," she added.

Note: Jahnavi's brother steals grapes a lot so that's why

"Yes, too much sweets will be bad for your growth ... .and more intense moments of Allison wise talk," advised Allison.

"Isn't Jahnavi's brother 6 feet or something?" thought Jonas.

"Yes, now mind you own beeswax please," sighed Evangeline as she facepalmed herself.

"May we eat now?" asked Milo.

"Yes, uh get whatever you like I guess," said Evangeline.

"Make sure to have a nutritious diet and a balance of fats, protein, carbs..." and blah blah blah, more Allison wise talk.

"I WANT TRAIL MIX," screamed the hyper Jahnavi.

"Ok wait," said Evangeline.

"Mmm, french fries," said Milo as he chewed his food. "I also want a banana...." as he dozed off...in a dirty minded dream.

"Um...Milo is not ok," noted Shinkai.

"Rip. He's never okay," concurred Iris, who was eating grapes with Evangeline and giggling at Grumpy Old Man's behavior.

"Ni men dou tai loud le," said Iris, covering her ears.

Translation: "All of you are too loud."

Meanwhile Allison, Iris, and Evangeline, who had no appetite, just stared and thought about the events that had taken place.

"Even thinking about spending the night in this...unknown place is creepy," said Iris.

And the rest of them just had a dirty minded moment...as expected.

"Wo men de nao zi xiang de hao dirty," sighed Iris.

Translation: "The thoughts in our mind are so dirty."

"Our class loves dirty minded things," reminded Shinkai.

"The world is so weird," sighed Iris.

"Weird is normal," reminded Evangeline.

After moments of silence and confusion, Jahnavi decided to break the tension.

"Let's play a game," she suggested.
