I kicked him right there and then. I yelled at him for a couple of times like this, “BWISIT-KA-BAKIT-HINDI-MO-SINAB-ISA-AKIN-AGAD-ANONG-BALAK-MO-GAWIN-AKONG-MANGHUHULA-POOOHTEK-KA!”, and he just stood there and took it all in. I beat his chest a couple of times too, but hell! My crush just said siya yung secret admirer ko and what do I do? I’m beating him up for hiding it from me! That’s a pathetic move, isn’t it?
I made myself calm down, habang nananahimik lang siyang nakatayo. And I told him, “Anong tinatayo-tayo mo diyan? Akala ko ba ililibre mo pa ako?”
And until now, he’s still freaked out at how I reacted and it’s been a week already. Sheesh! I even found out Luna helped too, pero wala na akong pakealam dun. I know, the old me would have killed them both, pero may natutunan ako last year. Yung wag daanin sa rahas ang lahat, rahas talaga. Mabrutal akong tao eh, pero nalaman ko na walang magandang maitutulong yun to solve a problem, actually it will give rise to another problem if you physically disabled a person. So, I’ve been practicing to calm myself lately.
At hindi pa rin makapaniwala sila Luna that I took the news lightly, light na yung pagwawala kong biglaan sa lagay na yun. And I think they’re still expecting some emotional breakdown coming from me, and I intend to prove them wrong.
So, instead. I’ve been so nice to them, “Nuod na kasi tayo ng The Hobbit! Please?” ilang araw ko na silang pinipilit since pagbalik namin sa school ngayong January, two weeks na and I’ve got no such luck, lahat ng kilala kong nakabasa nung book napanuod na yung movie, ako na lang ang hindi ‘cause no one wants to watch it with me.
They don’t want to watch it with me kasi kapag nabasa ko na yung pinag-base-an na book eh masyado akong macomment and inuunahan ko yung mangyayari, nakwekwento ko yung mangyayari pa lang sana.
“Uhm, busy ako this weekend eh,” yan na naman sila eh. Bwisit ‘tong Kevin na ‘to.
“Harry?” nilingon ko siya, he has read the books too.
Tumalon siya galing sa pang-itaas na bench para harapin ako. “I would really watch it with you, pero yung kasal ng pinsan ko sa Saturday na. Pwedeng sa Friday na lang? Or later? Any day this week, wag sa Sabado.” Siya lang talaga technically ang pinakamabait sa kanilang apat nila Kevin. Harry, can I love you?
“Eh, hindi ako pwede ng weekdays eh.” Gusto ko ng umiyak, dahil sa Tae Kwon Do practice na yan baka hindi ko mapanuod yung The Hobbit!
“Well, I’m busy.” Sabi din ni Mason, pati si Erik at Luna, si Duncan lang hindi nakasagot kaagad. “Si Duncan! Sasamahan ka niyan!” and with that tinulak nila si Duncan na parang hindi aware sa nangyayari, kanina pa yata kasi lumilipad isip niya.
