Can't take another poem
Declaring my undying love for you
My heart can't take another
Lie straight from your lips
That takes root in my chest
I can't take another
False promise
Under the guise it'll come true this time
I don't want to hear more words
That are nothing more than that
Just pretend
All fake with no truth
I just want you to be honest with me
Do you love me or not
Do you want me or not
Or not is an answer
Maybe not the one I want
But it still counts
And if that's your answer
Please tell me now
So that I don't look like a fool
When this comes crashing down
Just give me a warning
So that I know it's coming
It'll still be hard
But at least I'll know right?
Please just tell me the truth
Do you love me, or don't you
Do you want me or not
Are you just pretending
Or is this actually real
I'm so confused
I don't know what you want
Or what to do
Please just decide
And leave me be
