How do you fall
For someone else?
You think about that one someone
Almost constantly
He's the only thought in your mind
At any point in the day
And the truth is, maybe he's not good for you
So you wonder
How do I fall for someone new?
How do I open myself up to
The pain of falling again
How do I take back my baggage that
He's been carrying since we met
How do I get closure when it ends
It won't be on good terms when we end
Though the ending is obviously
Inevitable
And though I'm scared to see what happens
My morbid curiosity gets the best of me
And I wonder if you'd hit me
Like you did that night?
Would you stand over me, as I'm on the ground
And tell me it's my fault
That I made you do it?
And if you would just how far would you go
"If I can't have you, no one can"?
Would you kill me, my love?
You know I'm not scared of you
And maybe part of that is
I've been hurt before in the same way
That you hurt me
But it was worse
When you did it
Cause I trusted you
And I never thought you'd put your
Hands on me
But you did
I stay with you
I lay with you
I kiss your face
And we laugh together
But you've hit me
And if I were to anger you
Do you think you'd do it again?
