Do you think you'll ever miss me?
When we don't end up together
Do you think that there will be days
Where I'm a constant thought in your head?
Do you think that you'll see me in Walmart
Or some grocery store
And remember what we used to have?
Will you look at me and smile, think
Those were the good ole days
Or will you look at me and frown
As the rush of emotions you feel for me
Cascade over you, hitting you like
A ton of bricks, the way I'm feeling now?
Do you think that we'll be friends?
That we'll get along or still talk sometimes?
Do you imagine that one day 30 years
Way down the road
That if our relationships don't work out
That we'll find our way back to each other?
Do you think that what we had was special?
Or that there will come a day where
You'll regret picking someone who
Wasn't me?
Do you think that you'll look back at us
Two teenagers who fell in love
And just reminisce about it?
And if you're happy in your relationship
And im happy in mine
Do you think we'll still be something?
Still be able to confide in each other?
Still hug as friends?
Still playing pretend that we're nothing?Or do you think you'll never think about me
That I'll never cross your mind
You'll never wonder how im doing
If I ever went back to school?
Or if im teaching someplace
Do you think that you'll forget
About my existence?
Forget that we were ever something?
Do you think you'll forget
The way my lips felt pressed
Hard up against yours?
Do you think you'll forget what my
Body feels like pressed against your front
As my spoon in my bed?
Do you think you'll forget the way
You traced my body with your eyes
In the red glow of my LEDs?
Do you imagine forgetting the times you
Kisses my insecurities
My inner thighs
Will you forget kissing my stomach?
Or the sound of my giggle when
You tickled me?
Do you think you'll forget our good times?
And our bad times?Do you think you'll forget me?
