A shadowed figure stepped out of the darkness, watching the shadow of darkness spread over their world. Her boots gently settling on cracking cobblestone piled with fallen leaves from last fall. Silent and sure, the figure halted at the entrance of a large building.

The two moons hung high in the dark purple skies, outlining a bright pink light against the sun. Yellow and gold pinpricked the sky, sparkling down onto the moat of the bridge. The water rippled like loose fabric, beautifully and elegantly. The air scented of honey laden flowers, specifically moon flowers that glowed a shade of blue against the dark strands of grass.

White fur decorated the collar of her cape, a wealthy wolf had provided her of her warmth. Silk that had been finely sewn by seamstresses. Her yellow eyes illuminated in the darkness, hiding strands of fiery red hair behind her ears.

It was massive to the brink of thousands of people could fit in one room. The towers of bricks and rubble mashed into the tower. Arching high towards the sky, touching absent clouds that were stars shining down on them.

The figure carried a metal bucket containing large bits of uncooked meat, freshly cut. The figures blue hand reached into the bucket, pulling out a nice sized pig stomach. The figures dark blue lips curled into an o before a shrill whistle broke through the silence.

The ground rumbled underneath her as leaf's and rocks jumped inches into the air. The sound of loud breathing could be heard as large talons glinted against the twilight. Letting out a bellowing roar having smelled its lunch.

The crown of blood red horns circled around, dark gray encrusting his the snake-like body. Piercing yellow eyes ignited, blinking slowly, dotted with the moonlight. Warm breath exhaled from the creatures nostrils, flying down at the figure.

The figure tossed the piece of meat into the dragons mouth, who caught the small piece with easy inside its razor like mouth. The grunts and satisfied whines escaping the creatures mouth as it chomped down the meat. Still craving fresh blood everyday.

"You better be hungry, the butchers made sure you got large portions," The figure spoke, the voice of a young woman could be heard.

"S'Alya," Another woman's voice broke through the silence. A slightly taller woman than the woman before the dragon. Her hood lay loosely at the base of her neck, revealing the freshly cut strands of red hair.

"Mother. I wasn't expecting you to be out this late," S'Alya acknowledged the other figure, throwing another animal carcass into the dragons large mouth.

"You are going to be late for the meeting," Her mother stated bluntly. As her dresses red fabric pilled against her legs, trailing against the filthy ground.

"And left Rufus starving? Mother, it would be unwise if he was not prepared for this....confrontation as much as I am," S'Alya threw another meat carcass into the dragons jaws.
