"You holding up Pike?" Elsa asked the man sitting against a pillar. A greenish tinted silky fabric curled around his legs. Who's been filing out a few notes or files by the looks of it on his data pad.

A scrap across his cheek had been earned in battle, patched up be a white cloth bandage. He looked as if he had been deep in thought, startled by Elsa suddenly speaking. Forgetting all about the report.

The young woman had been given a large tanish jacket that could be used in the winter. Her hair had lost a bit of the bouncy curls from earlier, now showing much more length to her hair. She took a quick glance around the room.

Seeing all of the Skyler's and the rest of the gang had been recovering in the largest room of the palaces, the great hall. Callius and Mason were helping families with getting food and enough comfort. Adeline and Alejandro seemingly both in deep thought as Adeline clutched onto his hand like he would slip away.

Cauis was busy cleaning up wounds and helping repair weapons. Being in his own little word where nobody bothered him while he worked. Honestly, Elsa didn't dare to try to talk to him once during his work like he might throw a wrench at her.

"I'm okay. I guess.....but who the hell didn't keep up good security? There were guards outside! They could've seen the dragon a mile away!" Pike angrily put down his datapad.

"You're not the only one worrying about that," Elsa sat down next to him, "Have you been able to get word onto your ship?"

"They got a message, and they should come in a few hours with supplies," Pike told her, "Una is the captain for now as I stated and made that clear to her."

"Does Ava now?" Elsa asked.

Pike swallowed a brick ton of guilt and worry. Something he couldn't find a way to tell his own wife what was going on. Worrying how she'd react, and his mind immediately went to his kids.

"Not yet.....honestly I've been more of writing reports at this point.....that it's a bit of a distraction," Pike wanted to bury his face in his hands, badly.

Elsa put a hand on his shoulder, "She'll understand......you know she will.......god.....I have to remind myself that I'm so old since you have two kids now."

Pike let out a hoarse, but happy chuckle, "If you were old, you'd at least have a wrinkle, Elsa. You're quite ageless."

The two smiled before pike spoke up again, "You wanna know something about Kit and Brystal?"

"Sure," Elsa answered.

Though she slightly hated seeing her friends have kids and grow old while she still looked the same age, she didn't like upsetting them. Plus, she loved little kids. It reminded her of her brother.
