Elsa looked up at the board, seeing the sign for the movie Max had been angling to see. It was another animated movie, something good for a nine year old to see. Unlike Highlander, that Jennifer and her friends went off to watch.

Though, she'd begged and begged her parents to let her hangout with Jen, they only said she could if she brought Max. Which wasn't an excellent idea to bring him to a Rated R movie. So grudgingly, she had to agree.

"Alright, and remember we share the popcorn and one we each get one type of candy and soda!" Elsa reminded Max as soon as the ticket stand person handed back to her two tickets. Each stating that they were going to see Castle in the Sky.

The mall showcased everything in blinding neon lights, glittering all around them. The theater was a shining in a yellow neon. The ice cream shop that was nearby was glimmering pink and to the left was the glowing in red Chinese restaurant.

"Yeah, I know, El! I want skittles!" Max told her before teasing her, "Let me guess.....Skittles for you."

"You read my mind!" Elsa joked.

But something about this felt odd.

She had no recollection of when this happened her life. Come to think of it, she didn't know where she was. Everything felt so out of place, like she found herself in Oz.

The movie they were seeing was one of those Ghibli films that Alejandro adored. She could remember full well of him watching the film. But why didn't she ever remember sitting in front of the big screen to see this film.

"Ma'am?" The concession stand man questioned her, bringing her out of her trance.

"Oh! Sorry!" Elsa dug out the money from her right pocket, "One large popcorn, two skittle boxes, one Pepsi, and one New Coke!"

"That'll be $9.50," The concession man stated, still looking at her strangely like she'd been staring off into space.

"You sure that you're okay, Ellie?" Max asked as the concession man went back to grab their popcorn and drinks. Another concession stand worker grabbed out of a cabinet for the two skittle boxes.

Elsa looked down at the sounder her mind seemed to be a labyrinth of mazes and memories she couldn't escape from. Everything felt like a dream.....even a nightmare. And she watched as the world around her seemed to glitch in and out.

She found herself back in the Renegades apartment room.

It was empty. Nobody was there, except voices.

"Children's movies, again?"

"Cocky redhead."
