—|lure the wolf|—
Elsa looked around the remains of the abandoned planet, Kronos. Having being sent down to figure out where the distress signal had come from. Being sent down by Callius and his sister with only a few people she knew like Mason, Adeline, and Issac.
It had been one indicating survivors of a ship attacked by the Klingons, asking for their assistance. Which the U.S.S Apollo, U.S.S Interstellar, and U.S.S Artemis were happy to oblige. Taking their three ships out there, making her lead the search.
The whole planet was fractured buildings and pieces of metal everywhere. He lungs were filled with the familiar scent of iron and rust. The floor was dark gray much like dust and sand mixed together.
Mason, Adeline, and Issac were dressed to look like spice traders. Dressed in all black, wearing no symbol of Starfleet. Using the transporter had caused a little strength form the strip with how clouded the atmosphere was.
"We've got a time limit," Mason told her, "We've got at least 20 minutes before a random patrol or even a tracker knows we're here."
"Roger that," Elsa answered, "Splitting up may do us some good in looking for the crew."
"I would have to agree," Adeline secured her medical supplies backpack onto her back, "You should go east, Mason go west, since there not much of a south, I'll take the north. We'll meet back here."
"Communicator lines should be open in case one of us doesn't meet us here back in fifteen minutes," Mason added, Elsa nodded.
The group dispersed, trudging across the lands of rust. A place where old machines and history was forced to crumble. A saddening sight, but knowing it was something regular that the Klingons would do to planets.
The remains of once gloriously tall skyscrapers and various types of shuttles. It was hard to even imagine what the planet was originally like.
Elsa marched over, managing to pry open the doors. Dust seeming to sprinkle down from the dark metal ceilings as she turned her flashlight on. Examining around the room for a sign of movement or life.
Rescue missions were never her thing, but if things went bad is when they needed her. She was winning them these victories so far. But she didn't quite understand why she had to be used so often.
The sound of scattering cased her to turn around abruptly, "Hello?"
Her throat ran dry as she stayed silent to hear the noise again. Her body tensed up as silence settled in after her voice echoed across the walls for a few seconds. It could've been a creature of some sorts, but she'd have to find out.
Cautiously, she stepped forward, flashing her light to the walls around her. It looked like she'd entered the entrance of a once home to someone. Having to take a large step over a fallen metal table left on the ground.
