Issac awoke with a groan, lifting his he'd off his pillow. His eyes stung by the hues of golden sunlight coming from his window. He blinked a few times before looking at hus side table for a moment.

He heard the clanking of a pots on the stove and tearing of paper. The aroma of sizzling bacon and eggs filled his nostrils. Had he really fallen asleep that fast last night?

He checked the time, his alarm blinking back at 7:05. He definitely slept in a bit longer than he did then his regular mornings of getting up by 6:30. He wasn't exactly a person who slept nor was a person who was quite an early bird.

His eyes widened as he looked at his clothes. He'd slept in his clothes and hadn't bothered to put on some sleepwear. He cursed himself for being to lazy to even get himself dressed. He lifted himself out of bed, waking up Daisy. She barked at him, the noise loud enough to wake even a baby.

He quickly got his leg dressed into an oversized sweatshirt and black pants. He ran his hands through his hair, shaking his head, making his curly hair puff out a bit. He cracked the door open a bit, seeing his mother sing along to a song as she cracked an egg over a pot.

"She'll only come out at night, the lean and hungry type," His mother sang along to the poppy beat of the song, "Nothing is new, that I've seen her here before."

His footsteps creaked against the floor as he made his way towards his mother. Daisy ran ahead of him, wagging her tail and rubbing against his mothers leg. His mother stopped, humming as she knelt down to give the dog a good run on her fur.

"You slept in," His mother commented.

"I know," Issac sighed, looking at the pots sizzling with food, "Daryl Hall and John Oates?"

"How'd you know?" His mother asked, stopping her humming.

"Because you sing it too much," Issac commeneted.

"True," his mom shrugged. He felt guilty for overreacting last night towards her. He should've been more angry at Callius for talking about a matter she didn't want to discuss. But Callius was right that he'd have found out somehow anyway.

"Sorry for overreacting last night...." Issac said, his head looking at the floor while his mother let go of Daisy.

"I should've told you earlier anyway," his mother sighed, "Now please take a seat. You have a big day ahead of you."

Issac cocked an eyebrow, grabbing himself a glass of water. He took a quick sip, letting the coolness run down his throat. His throat had been like sand in his throat till the water caused a clear throat.

"Big day?" Issac questioned before smelling something burning.

"Falcuno" His mother cursed as she rushed over to the stove and tried her best to save the rest of the eggs, "Callius wants you to meet up with him at the old 21st  century like bookstore."
