Issac Merlin's Log. Star date (literally can't remember, but I know it's a Saturday)

Things have been going quite well with the Renegades project. Though I wouldn't really say if it's a project anymore with how much we are used out in the battlefield. Grand Admiral Paris has always stood by our sides into trying to get us into more effective positions. Although, we are already pestered with our own lives and responsibilities we need to take care of.

Elsa has grown accustomed to having us help her out with issues more often now. It's good to see Mrs. Callius's talents and helpful words really shine from Elsa. And even that gave her some accessibility to her heart, that allowed her to reveal to us that she was a lesbian. Though Mason had speculated this from the start when he first met her, but he only told me.

Admiral Marcus on the other hand seems pleased to how we are doing so far. He's even put in requests for another person to be added. Callius won't be able to make that appointment, but he asked me to take his place for the day as well as Mason to as well. He finds us the most capable of defining someone else's skills. Though we both agreed we didn't need another engineer or scientist in the team.

I've gone on about 52 missions now. Heck, that sounds like a lot even though that's just missions with a  group. My solo missions are at a total of 10. Not as many as Elsa. But hopefully I will reach that level one day.

An update on my family though is pretty much the same. Adeline and her scientifically brain that is filled to the brim with math and Audrey Hepburn, proudly created an exploding pen for me. Which works quite well when it came to the bad negotiation with the Chinese mob boss. My mother also still visits George Kirk's widow, bringing food or a drink for her, so the two could talk.

And today marks the day of me and Lyris officially becoming a couple. We did struggle with the idea of it at first, didn't what it to be public right away. But for some reason we learned that Cauis had indeed overheard Lyris's father and hacked into the security system to see us reunite. Now that was a mess we both personally had to clean up.

Issac looked down at a still sleeping Lyris, her gorgeous strands of lucious brown hair piled against the pillow. He still was leaning against her, so he wouldn't wake her up. Looking back to his datapad for the time, to see 6:15 blink back at him.

Should he mention anything else? He already had done reports everyday, but in the morning he had a terrible memory of the days. So, he hoped Paris wouldn't roll her eyes and think he was slacking off.

Truly, he wasn't trying to do. He had enough in his plate and trying to figure out what to surprise Lyris with in a few days. Though, he did hope he had time to find a gift that was at least affectionate and loving to say the least.

Her eyelids slowly fluttered open, she smiled softly as she stared up at him, "Mattina, dormi bene (morning, sleep well)?"

"Moltissmo (very much so)," Issac replied, "Your Italian is getting much better sweetheart."
