"Alright, Elsa it's your turn."
Elsa jolted her head upward, eyes lit up in fright and horror. Feeling as if she couldn't breath anymore. Her energy had died out just seconds ago. Being used already too much to make one perfect move.
Her chest heaving with pain and exhaustion. Beads of sweat had begun to drip from her forehead as she brushed a few off. She felt like she might as well die before she even got a sip of water to calm her nerves and exhaustion.
Sitting on the ice cold bench of Arik's meeting room, practicing hours in end on her powers. Her fingertips were still lingering with pain and planted with scars. She got up, not daring to look away.
The southern, midwestern accent of an old man stood above her. Waiting for her to get up, staring her down like prey. Making her core shutter, her throat drying up like sand as she gulped down her fears.
She felt so small. Having to look like a thirteen year old for the rest of her life. She'd just have to follow through with his plans until.......no she was already sick of the life she was stuck in.
"Yes.....sir," Elsa answered.
The room around them was like a dark shroud of midnight. The sounds of grunting echoing across the room, a tall man falling to the floor. Arik looking disapproving as he nodded to Viper, telling him to help him dispose of the man.
Elsa but the inside of her lip hard, wanting to make it bleed. Nothing made sense with how much technology had evolved. How could she have been put to sleep for 150 years? Almost just like Sleeping Beauty.
"No! Please! NOOO!" The man screamed as Viper snapped his fingers towards the two guards.
The guards sharply pulled the man off his feet, taking him by his shoulders. Sharply shoving him against the wall, trying to keep him still. The man squirmed like a fish out of water, begging them to let him go.
Elsa's eyebrows and eyes widened in realization. Her body stopping involuntary in front of the scene, not daring to move another step. Her mind flashing, telling her to run before it was too late.
But did she really have a chance or choice?
She had brought this upon herself about a century and a half ago. She made the deal for a stupid reason, thinking she was somehow gonna get what she wanted. Acceptance.......when really she just felt like an overused toy.
She studied the beaten and frightened man, who continued his screaming. He was a young Orion man, at least in his early thirties. But what she frightened about most was what Arik was going to make her do with bringing her over there.
"SOONG!! STOP! I BEG YOU! PLEASE!!!"
"You've already wasted his time," Viper spoke, practically floating across the room towards, "You told a secret to a friend. Those details are classified. You've ruined relations and resources from your planet."
