Lyris wasn't anticipating to be greeted with open arms by the the Skylers. She didn't exactly wear the same extravagant clothes or riches as they did. Her hair wasn't long and lush like the women.

It really contrasted with Lyris's messy curled hair. Her blue sweater that zipped up perfectly around her. Her beat up old tennis shoes and her slightly torn pants at the bottom.

But here she was, being greeted with a hug by the Senator. The senator was decorated in all white satin, a flower crown around her head, and the dark brown curls rolled into a bun. You would've mistook her for a princess.

Standing on a golden bridge of combined golden palaces and riches. Palaces that stretched up towards the sky, trying to touch the fading sunset. Sunlight glinting off the walls of the castle they were in front of.

"I've been waiting for this day for so long," The senator declared, "I have waited so long to meet the daughter of Lydia Hawkins."

"Senator Aimee," Samuel bowed as he greeted her.

His ragged hair dripped down to the sides of his face. His face was unshaven and hadn't been shaven in a while. But Aimee still saw the same man she knew years ago.

"You look just as I remembered you," The senator smiled, "Oh, where are my manners? Come along, I'll show you your rooms in the castle!!"

Soldiers decorated in bits of armor and weapons threw luggage to servants, who quickly hurried off behind the senator. The shuttle was halted at the docking, Christopher Pike watching as they left.

He couldn't help, but feel a twinge of sadness. He could only think about Lyris having to start over again, and just to learn a new style of life. She'd be leaving it all behind just so she could be with her kind again.

"We owe you a debt of gratitude," Senator Aimee stopped in her tracks and looked at Christopher, "You've returned, but not only that protected them at all costs. How can we ever repay Starfleet?"

"No need to," Christopher smiled, "It's our job to protect and serve the Galaxy."

"Well......all of our people thank you," Aimee told him with a smile as Christopher nodded to her. He headed back off to the pilot seat of the shuttle.

"Come along!!" Aimee told Lyris and Samuel, "I can't wait to show you the place! Especially you, Ms. Lyris!"
