Issac had found himself lost in the garden of the Skyler's palace. He'd ran by dozens of marble pavilions, sparkling ponds, and the towering bushes of glowing blue flowers. He'd completely lost track of time, having no idea he even was.

His breathing was shallow and sharp as he sat down on a marble bench. He felt as if he couldn't breath from everything happening at the party. All the events happening like a snap of a finger then they were done.

Maybe it had been the fact he'd found himself getting butterflies in his stomach by Lyris's outfit. Showing just a bit of cleavage that could've sent his cheeks blooming a hot shade of red. He'd almost gotten their secret out.

Had he forgotten in that moment the del Starfleet had made with the Emperor and Empress? The one where they'd promised that would show that Samuel and Lyris had barely any help to survive the obstacles of earth. He could've costed Pike and Callius for doing just a simple waltz with Lyris.

He wanted to curl up into ball and die. His eyes darted up at the dark indigo skies, traces of clouds still visible in the cold night air. Tears wanting to roll down his face, but he didn't dare cry or even let out a whimper of pain.

"Stupid....stupid," Issac cursed at himself, "Falcuno(fuck)."

The silence in that moment felt golden. It was just him wondering what he had done so wrong to end up here in the first place. But then again, karma usually liked to strike up a curveball at him at any chance they got.

Lyris found herself dodging any twigs or any other sorts of plants that would snag on her dress. She halted at the where the fountain had been placed, trying to catch her breath. Her face had grown red and her legs already had started to spasm.

Immediately, she proceeded to take her heels off, sitting down onto the white marble rim of the fountain. Throwing them onto the tall green grass, watching as they disappeared from view. Her feet seemed to let out their own sigh of relief from their confinements.

She looked up to see through the golden stained glass windows that everybody else was dancing and having the time of their life. Music could still be heard from outside of the palace. She uttered a sigh of relief as if she found some freedom.

Her mind going straight to thinking of how she should start this conversation. Get the fact into Issac's head that she was truly sorry and she didn't belong here. She hated it here.....she wanted.....she wanted her best friend back.

It wouldn't be easy nor would it be impossible. She couldn't undress his heart to show what he was truly feeling in those moments. It would be enough if she knew he was still her best friends, her feelings and emotions could be told another time.

Issac caught sight of Lyris's figure, immediately sending him to stand back up, "You should be inside........I'm just checking the premise for any unwanted visitors."
