Chapter 23: A not so expected visiter

We have played are opening game against Austria we beat them 1-0 I didn't get to play I was a bit annoyed but I understood. Sarina did say that she would be starting me in the second game against Norway in a couple of days and I can't wait to get out there and make my debut. Cole did come to the game against Austria as he had promised it was nice to see him again even if he didn't get to see me play. Leah's parents was at the Austria game to it was nice to see them again I introduced them to cole and Leah's brother. Jacob and Cole seemed to get on really well me and Leah was sensing a bit of bromance going on between them two.

I truly think we have a good shot at winning the euros and if we do it would be even more special because we would do it on home turf. The atmosphere in the stadium at the game was unbelievable I had never seen anything quite like it it was full of England shirts and I don't think there was one moment in that game where everyone wasn't singing. It's moments like that that make me proud to be English proud to be apart of such a great team that are supported by such great fans.

I'm sitting at breakfast with a huge smile on my face it's visiting day which means that I get to spend the day with cole I've missed his company and his stupid little comments and his god awful jokes that aren't funny in the slightest.

What's got you all smiley this morning you're normally trying to bite someone's head off by now Lucy says nudging me in the side to get my attention.

It's visiting day which means I get to see cole I say smiling even more than I already was.

Ahh the famous Cole who you don't shut up about well I'm glad to be finally meeting the mysterious man Lucy says laughing.

I still had to wait a few more hours till I could see him I was staring to get impatient it felt like time was moving slower and slower.

Hey do you want to go watch a film to pass some time you look like you could use a distraction Leah whispers to me. "Ye I'm just to excited I guess"

Me and leah walk off back to her room hand in hand. We decided on watching a horror film well Leah did I'm staring to think she likes to see me get scared. I spend the whole time gripping onto her shirt for dear life I must have screamed about 10 times in the past 5 minutes.

Lexi why are you being so dramatic Leah says laughing at me. "How can you be so calm his just got his face ripped off by a clown and your sat there unfazed feel my heartbeat" I say taking Leah's hand and placing it on my heart.

Fucking hell lex i didn't realise you was that scared we can watch something else if you want i don't mind Leah says wrapping her arms around me and grabbing the Remote to find something else to watch. She puts the second grown ups movie on which I was happy about I don't think I could have watched another minute of that horror film let alone the half an hour that was still left on it. As the film starts to come to an end I feel my phone vibrate.

Cole: hey lex I'm just walking in now see you in a minute I can't wait

Me: ok ok I'm on my way right now

I practically sprint out the door leaving Leah sat there confused I run down into the lobby of the hotel scanning the room for cole I see him stood near the entrance a smile makes its way onto my face and I run over to him.

Coleeee I shout running up to him and jumping into his arms.

Hey lex did you miss me he says wrapping his arms around me tighter. "No not really quit liked you not being around" I joke.
