It's complicated

Chapter 29: Holiday

"Leah how can i pack if i don't know where we are going" i say sitting in front on my suitcase that has nothing in it. We are leaving tomorrow and i still have no clue what to bring.

"You haven't even packed yet" Leah says appearing at the door with a shocked look on her face. I do have a habit of leaving things till the very last minute i just kind of left it and hoped it would pack itself.

"How can i pack if i don't know where we are going" I say again.

" God you're unbelievable" she says walking over to the wardrobe and picking things out that i will need. Whilst she was busy doing that i take this as my opportunity to leave the room without her noticing so she will have to put everything in the suitcase for me.

A few minutes later i hear Leah shout from my room. I think she realised what my plan was. "Lexi get back up here and put the clothes in the suitcase I'm not doing it for you" she shouts obviously she has caught on to my plan.

"Huh what was that i can't hear you" I shout back. I hear her let out a loud sigh and a mixture of swear words knowing that she's going to be the one to pack everything for me.

"I can't believe you just made me pack everything for you" Leah says standing at the living room door with her arms crossed and pretend mad look on her face.

"Sorry" I say giving her an apologetic smile and opening my arms for her as a way to say sorry. She practically sprints over and jumps into my arms wrapping her arms around my back and placing her head on my chest. The whole mad act was now nowhere to be seen.

We spend the rest of the night watching films tangled up in each others arms. Well we didn't do much watching i spent most of the time asking Leah where we was going. She had told everyone but me the only piece of information she was willing to give me was the time of are flight which was way to early for my likings. We had to be up at 5 am i almost started crying when she told me i struggle to get out of bed at a reasonable time let alone in the middle of the fucking night.

After the film had come to an end we both decided to make are way up to bed wanting to get a few hours of sleep before we had to get up. I would sleep on the plane but i know that's not going to happen cole will be yapping down my ear the whole time. We both get into bed Leah wraps her arms around me pulling me into her chest she places a soft kiss on my forehead before we both fall asleep.

I wake up to Leah's alarm going off. There is no noise i hate more than a fucking alarm. Why does it have to sound like that? "Turn it off" I say putting the pillow over my ears to try and block that god awful sound out.

"It's off come on up you get holiday time" Leah says in a cheery tone. How can she be so happy it's 5 in the morning and i want to throw myself off a bridge.

I force myself out of bed blinking a few time as an attempt to wake myself up a bit it didn't work tho. I make my way over to my wardrobe throwing on the first thing i see not caring what i look like i don't have the energy to pick anything decent out.

"Have you got your passport" Leah asks me for the 5 time in the past 10 minutes as she paces in and out of every room to make sure we aren't forgetting anything.

"Leah I've got my passport we have everything so stop stressing your making me dizzy the way your running in and out of every room" I say laughing at her going into full airport dad mode and we haven't even made it to the airport yet.

"Right ye sorry just wanted to make sure we have everything " she says finally stopping and sending me an apologetic smile.

"It's ok we best go tho don't want to keep everyone waiting" I say taking my hand in hers making sure all of the windows and doors are locked before we leave.
