Chapter 10: the question

I'm asking Leah to be my girlfriend today things have been going really well between us and I want to make it official make her mine. I'm taking her out to a restaurant for dinner then I'm going to ask her. I'm going out for a coffee with some of the girls I need to get out of this house and do something to take my mind of it I'm stressing the fuck out.

I make my way to the car me Beth and Katie are meeting up at a caffe near by it's a cute little place we often go there it's always empty so we don't get recognise and we can enjoy ourselves without getting interrupted.

I make my way into the caffe there both already sat down at a table at the back.

Here she is late as always Katie says moving over so I can take a seat next to her.

I'm not always late Katie bit dramatic I say rolling my eyes at her.

Name me one time you have been on time for anything since joining Arsenal Lex Katie says with a smirk on her face.

Um well uh there was this one time wait no I was late actually oh shut up Katie she got me there.

Exactly point proven Katie says laughing.

We spend the next half an hour chatting about random things it's nice to get out the house and meet up with the girls it takes my mind of off things. I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket I take a look at it and Leah has texted me a smile makes its way on my face.

Leah: hey Lex I was just wondering what you want me to wear tonight casual or fancy xx

Me: hey beautiful fancy I'll be there to pick you up at 6 xx

Leah: ok I'll be waiting have a good day Lex I miss you xx

Me: I miss you to le I'll see you later tho xx

I put my phone away and look back up at the girls they have these stupid smirks on their faces and there are both sat there staring at me.

Why are u both staring at me like that I know I'm beautiful and all but eyes off please how would Viv and Caitlin feel about this I say laughing.

Shut up Lex so who was you texting Beth says she knows exactly who I was texting.

I was texting Leah I say

Hmm so what is going on between you two exactly I've seen the way you look at each other and the way your face lights up whenever someone says her name Beth says smiling.

Well um we have both admitted that we liked each other we have kissed a few times she's stayed round mine and we have went on a few dates I say.  I know i had to tell them or they would have just kept going on and on at least I can get their opinion on me asking Leah to be my girlfriend.

Ahhh I fucking knew it ha pay up katie Beth says. Wait huh I'm so confused.

Oh for fuck sake Katie says.

What are u talking about Beth I say having no idea what she's on about.

Well me and are good friend Katie over here had a bet going on I bet her 20 quid that there was something going on between you and Leah and she bet there wasn't and I fucking wonnnnnnn Beth says.

You to really placed a bet on me and Leah I say letting out a little laugh.

Absolutely now Katie I'm still waiting on my £20 Beth says with a smug smirk on her face.

I've never been so disappointed in you Lexi I can't believe I fucking lost Katie says handing Beth the £20.

Aww Katie don't cry mate maybe you should just get good at placing bets on things I say finding her frustration about her losing hilarious.
