Chapter 6: the date

I'm taking Leah out on a date tonight to say I'm shitting it is an understatement Cole's had to calm me down 3 times already. Not to mention the fact that I've got the biggest hangover ever I look like I've just been ran over by a bus and dragged down a flight of stairs by my hair. Cole's down stairs making me breakfast to try and get rid of my hangover whist I get ready.

I quickly get changed and make my way downstairs.

Here she is lover girl Cole says

Shut up Cole and give me the food I'm fucking starving I say not wanting to hear his stupid comments.

Wow how rude of you no hi Cole how are you thanks for making me breakfast I appreciate it your the most kind caring best friend I could ever ask for he says.

You're so horrible I've been waiting for ages for this moment and you won't even tell me where you're taking her Cole's says.

I'm not going to tell you no matter how much you beg me you will just have to wait till tomorrow I say laughing at how much he wants to know about my love life.

Fine but I better get all the details tho he says sounding very serious.

Me and Cole spend most of the day on the sofa watching some shitty series he's obsessed with he think I love it just as much as he does but I don't have the heart to tell him how shit it is so I just sit there and put up with it. I'm meant to be taking Leah out in an hour so it's about time to get ready I put on some shorts and a jumper and send Leah a quick text to let her know I'm on my way.

I arrive at Leah's house after a 10 minute car journey. I'm absolutely shitting it I've been sat in the car for five minutes trying to calm myself down fucking hell why am I so nervous this is so stupid. What am I meant to do knock on the door? Do I text her I'm here? fucking hell why is this so hard. Do I kiss her? Do I hug her?

After about another 5 minutes of me trying to figure out what to do I decide to knock on her door. Almost instantly the door opens she look hot she's in a tracksuit it's simple but still she looks hot.

You look good I say embracing her in a hug.

So do you she says back.

Right then you ready to go I say.

Ye let me just put my shoes on.

I take Leah's hand and open the car door for her I let her put some music on I would normally never let anyone have control of the music in my car but she gave me these stupid cute eyes and I couldn't say no to her.

So where are u taking me then Leah says breaking the silence.

What no please tell me I don't like surprises she says giving me those eyes again.
