Poppy and Branch watched in horror as Velvet and Veneer made it to the top of their yacht, they still had Floyd in their grasp.
Velvet: Alright, you guys want an encore?!
The crowd went wild when they heard that, longing to hear the pop star duo sing their hearts out.
Veneer: Encore? Sis, come on, this one won't last you half a song, let's just quit while we're on top!
Velvet didn't like hearing that from her brother.
Velvet: Just sing, you beautiful idiot!
With that, Velvet tapped the button on her shoulder pads sucking Floyd's essence up like a vampire sucking blood.
Spruce: Floyd will never make it, he's got nothing left!
Branch's heart dropped when he saw how close his brother was to possibly being killed right before his eyes.

Suddenly, he got an idea, remembering something Poppy had said a while ago...and that stuck with him.
Branch: Guys, Poppy said something earlier...and she was right.
Poppy: I was...?
Branch turned to Poppy and nodded with a smile.
Branch: We don't have to be perfect to be in harmony, we just have to be as we are. Together.
All of Branch's brothers were in shock when they heard those words from their youngest brother. Perhaps they were right...if it meant saving Floyd, they were in.
John Dory: We'll follow your lead, Branch.
Poppy smiled and put a hand on Branch's shoulder.
Poppy: I'm proud of you, Branch.
Velvet: Here we go!
Suddenly, the music was turned off and the mics stopped working.
Velvet: What?! Who did that?!
Nearby, Crimp had apparently turned the sound and music off so Velvet and Veneer couldn't perform. Poppy looked up and Crimp gave them a thumbs up.
Velvet: Ugh! Come on!!!
Branch stepped forward letting go of Poppy's hand and began to sing softly, his beautiful voice echoing throughout Mount Rageous.
