"Have you seen the news? Oh my gosh! I am so kinikilig!"
I ignored Kira and focused on my food instead. After my trip to Sagada, I went straight to Korea for my work. Sinundo ako ni Kira from the airport and we both decided to have lunch outside. Pinauwi ko naman ng maaga sina Austin and Hazel for them to rest.
I've saw the news before my flight to Korea. Honestly, it bothered me. I don't know what to feel. Every time I see Sid, I cannot help but feel something towards him. Regardless if I knew or not that he was once a part of my past, he still makes me feel things. Like earlier.
Eli told me that Sid was apparently my 'first love'. He told me to browse my old folders again, and I did. While looking at them, I proved that Eli's right. Seeing myself six years ago, I knew for sure that I was in love.
And now, I know I'm having a tiny feelings for Sid. It's driving me crazy, to be honest. But I don't have any plans on pursuing that. I don't even want to tell Kira and Eli about this because I know they'll make a big deal out of it.
"Hey!" Kira tapped the table to get my attention. I looked at her, confused. "Wow... One trip in the Philippines, and you're already snobbish?" she rolled her eyes.
"I just don't see how Sid's news concern me." I told her, returning my gaze to my food. I'm afraid she'll notice I'm lying by the look of my eyes.
"Why not? It's obvious that it's you he's pertaining about!" she exclaimed.
I shook my head, not wanting any Kira's words enter my mind. "No. I am not."
"Yes! It's you." pamimilit niya.
Hindi ko na ulit siya pinansin. I know Kira wouldn't let me win. She's so stubborn.
After our meal, we went straight to our apartment. Sa unit muna niya ako pumunta to see Renee. I played with her for an hour before going to my unit to fix my things and get some rest.
A day after, I went to Busan with my team for a shoot. The government of Busan Province wanted to update the pictures of their tourist spots, and they wanted me to capture it for them. We'll be staying in Busan for two days, before we fly back to Philippines for the DOT project.
On our flight back to the Philippines, my team went straight to Baguio, our second destination. We asked the staffs to just send us the location of the hotel, since we left Korea a little later than their call time. It was already six in the evening when we arrived.
"Maki!" Sinalubong ako ni Eli sa harap ng hotel. He took my travel bag from my arm. "Kumain na kayo?"
"Not yet." I answered. The last meal I've took was the in-flight meal, which I ate two hours ago.
"Tara, kain tayo!" pagyaya niya.
I shook my head. My eyes are feeling heavy due to lack of sleep and fatigue. I badly want to sleep. "I'll sleep first. Later na lang ako kakain."
