"Are you hiding something from me, Eli?"

We're at the Island Central here in Cebu, wandering around. I was trying to spend time with him but he's so busy with his phone. I can't help but feel irritated. Kung ganito pala siya, dapat ay sumama na lang din ako kay Sid.

But I'm also annoyed with that man. He left me in the hotel room without saying any word! When I messaged him, he only replied 'nasa labas lang ako, mahal'. When I asked him again, hindi na siya nag-reply. Nakakainis.

He's been frustrating me since the night he blue-balled me. That man.

"Wala, ah!" Eli answered, his eyes still fixed on the screen.

I narrowed my eyes at him. This man is up to something, that's for sure. He's been acting weird all day. He's been stifling his smile while talking to someone over the phone.

"Eli," I called for his attention. "Are you seeing someone?"

He instantly glanced at me."Ako?!" he pointed himself, surprised "Wala, ah!"

"Then what's so important with your phone?" I asked with annoyance.

"Ahh... Wala 'yon." sagot niya at ibinaba na ang phone. Maybe he felt that I'm slowly getting annoyed. Buti naman.

Just as I thought he's already done with his phone, something notified again. Mabilis ulit itong kinuha ni Eli, making me roll my eyes.

"Oh my god! Hahaha!" natatawang sabi ni Eli. "Damn!"

I was on the brink of losing my patience, so I called the waiter for the bill. It's better if we'll just go back to our hotel than before my frustration escalate. Besides, Eli doesn't seem to enjoying my company. If he does, he wouldn't be this disrespectful.

"Aalis na tayo?" nagtatakang tanong ni Eli before glancing at my food. "Hindi ka pa tapos kumain, ah?"

"I've lost my appetite." I replied, coldly. Who on earth would have an appetite if you're friend is acting really weird? Wala pa sa'yo ang atensyon nito.

"Okay?" Eli fixed his things. "Saan tayo pupunta next?"

I almost rolled my eyes at him. He's asking me kung saan kami pupunta, e wala nga sa akin ang atensyon niya? "We're going home." I said before leaving the table. I didn't wait for him anymore. Bahala siya kung susunod s'ya.

Eli followed me outside. "Huy! Galit ka ba?' He asked me, panicking.

"No. I'm just tired." I lied. I don't really like talking about my feelings when I'm full of emotion. Baka anong masabi ko.

Eli held my wrist, "Huy, sorry na." he apologized.

I glanced at his eyes. He really looks guilty. I took a deep breath before asking him a question, "Sino ba kasi 'yan? "
