"Good morning, mahal!" Sid placed a kiss on my lips when I reached the dining area, "Kain ka na!"
The next days of my stay in Ezperanza were so peaceful and quiet. I've spent most of my time here in our house and store since since Sid busied himself by roaming around our barangay to chat with our neighbors. His schedule was so hectic. I've lost count on how many parties and drinking sessions he had attended for the past days.
While he's busy, I also tried to keep myself occupied. I volunteered to watch our store in the market. So far, I'm enjoying my temporary work. I've met a lot of people and chatted with them while I attend their needs. I like how my life felt so productive even if I'm resting.
Sid and I barely saw each other for the past days kaya he decided na bumawi ngayon. He's here in our house, spending time with me.
"What are we gonna do today?" I asked him before biting my pandesal.
""Ikaw bahala," he answered me. "Kahit ano naman, okay sa'kin. Basta kasama ka." Sid grinned.
I frowned at him. What the hell? "You're too cheesy, mahal." I rolled my eyes.
"Hehe, I love you." Sid said before giving me a kiss.
Since we haven't thought about the activities we wanted to do, so we ended up watching series on Netflix. We're currently alone in the house. This guy right here took advantage of it and made out with me.
"You sure you don't want to continue this upstairs?" I asked Sid while he is nibbling my neck.
"Ayoko. Bahay ng pamilya mo to, e..." he answered me, "Tsaka na lang kapag may sarili na tayong bahay."
His self-control was amazing. I've felt his huge bulge on his shorts, but he still managed to restrained himself. I was fine with having sex with him on my bedroom, but I also respect his principles. If that's what he wants, then okay.
When we got tired of making out, we both decided to cook adobo for lunch. While we're eating, I noticed a pile of photo albums stored inside the cabinet of our media unit.
"Do you know what that is?" I pointed the albums.
"Iyon? Mga dati mo atang litrato 'yon. Naalala ko na si Lola Mely ang naglalagay ng mga litrato mo roon sa album. Sa veranda pa 'yan naka-pwesto. Naka-upo siya sa wheelchair niya habang abala sa pagaayos ng mga album." pagkwento niya.
I was so curious about those albums so I instantly finished my meal and washed my hands. Sakto, tapos na rin si Sid kumain. He helped me take those albums out of the cabinet before placing them on the coffee table.
"These are so thick," I muttered. Right now, we're facing three large photo albums with floral designs. All of them are labeled with 'Maki's Photos'.
We began opening the first photobook. Most of the photos inside that album are the landscapes I apparently took. It consists mostly of buildings, farms, establishments, and tourist spots in Ezperanza. In all fairness, I liked how my pictures back then turned out. Although there were room for improvements, I still think I had done a pretty decent job. No wonder, many people liked these before.
